Great would go back The resort is beautiful and inviting. I loved the mini village vibe. The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. The spa has a great selection of different saunas and steam rooms as well as an infinity jacuzzi and big pool. The dinner in the courtyard restaurant was great, the food was really tasty and the service was lovely. The bar area had a great atmosphere as well. Only things that are not the fault of the hotel - the executive bed was 2 singles zip and locked together which as a couple we don't like because you have to lie in the dip to be close which isn't comfortable. We didn't sleep very well as there were people shouting in the corridors until about 1 or 2 in the morning. The spa was quite crowded so could have done with more loungers to chill out on. (my mom didn't like that there were no biscuits in the room with the tea and coffee)

We stayed in room 49, a cottage room.
The room on the whole was very clean and well maintained, had a large TV and ample hot drink making facilities (could’ve done with some more tea bags). Staff were lovely at check in and throughout our stay. However bar staff seemed like it was an inconvenience to them to order any food/drinks.
Spa facilities were excellent, unfortunately there wasn’t any availability for any treatments when we stayed but nonetheless the pool and thermal suite were very good. The lady on the spa reception was very friendly and helpful too.
We’d stay again if we’re ever in the area, not too far a drive from Manchester.

Never been to a spa hotel before, but what a way to kick off 2023!!
We booked online (A winter warmer break) for the price of £149 you get..a lovely executive room with a bed so big and comfortable that leaving it was painful! Use of the spa - swimming pool and thermo/hydro/jacuzzi type pool...watch out for the hissing sound, a signal the waterfal and bubbles are imminent! 2 saunas, aroma room, steam room, salt room and loungers! You can spend hours in there but take plenty of water, relaxing is thirsty work! (There are notices saying no mobiles but people were ignoring them and posing for their Instagram pics, which did get a bit annoying. Maybe abit more policing of this policy?)
2 course dinner in the restaurant which was great after all that hard relaxing and breakfast the next day. We did pay an £8 tray charge to have it in our room for a treat and it arrived on time and hot and lots of it! We ordered everything we could and enjoyed every mouthful.
Also included was a £10 voucher to spend in the hotel and spa products which will be great for using in carry on luggage for our next plane trip and use of fluffy robes and slippers. I have to say, wafting about a hotel wrapped in a robe and slippers is a whole new thing for us but my goodness, does it make you feel cossited and content.
The staff are just amazing and are helpful in anyway you need. We asked for more pillows, delivered in moments. More tea and coffee, sent immediately. Extra things for dinner, given without question. Thank you to every staff member!
Have booked again. And just can't WAIT!!!!!!

A smashing hotel and facilities such a shame poor evening meal. spa rooms and hotel staff fab Evening meal selection limited 4 starters and main. Starter prawns, lettuce looked tired brown edges and prawns looked like frozen party food. Mains fish sold out and replacement not to our liking so switched to beef dish which was v good but served with crochettes would have been better with a good mash. Chicken dish ordered the tomato sauce poor, chicken breast over cooked and very dry. Overall evening meal v expensive for poor quality. Breakfast was very good.

Good The staff were very helpful, rooms were big enough. Lovely spa and good facilities. Also quite a quiet location. Restaurant was fully booked unfortunately but nice pubs nearby No robes in the room. Also no fridge. We got a twin room as it was cheaper than a double for some reason. The pillows were very hard.

Good stay over all. Nice & clean, everything in one location. Too warm and the cost of a little high, had to queue for breakfast which is rediculous.
