I have never stayed before and was pleasantly surprised, great room, friendly staff and for me the most important thing The gym, pool and spa was amazing!! Only the Location, as their was always traffic getting in at rush hour through Bolton.

comfortable and invigorating loved the setting the spa and pool. especially the thermal spa as it was snowing in the open air. Had a face and head massage brilliant xx the toilet in the bathroom too close to the toilet roll holders. no pressure on cold tap on sink furnishings tired could do with a lot of modernisation

Absolutely loved it!
We stayed in cottage room number 93 which was actually behind the hotel and spa. However the view and the experience was amazing. The carpet could have more cleaner but overall it was very nice. Staff and the food spread was nice.

First time in a great place Great customer service and excellent facilities. We are definitely going to visit again. There is nothing we didn't like here. We had to wait a bit to get into our room as the card wasn't working on the door, but the staff moved us into a much better and expensive room to compensate for that.

Pleasant Wall very thin so could hear what was going on across the corridor. Would of been nice to have better quality pillows. Room was freezing when we first arrived as the radiators weren't on.

Very good Lovely place to take the children for an overnight stay. Lovely food. Comfortable beds. A little dated in some area's. Clean but dusty lights and plug sockets.

overtly commercialised the location is stunning. The waiting staff were very attentive and helpful especially Zoe the hotel appear to have a distinctive aim which they appear to achieve very well. unfortunately despite the professionalism of the team; our stay wasn’t the stay we had hoped to be.

Brilliant stay Everything was perfect for my mum and her friend. They had a relaxing stay, nice food at the on site restaurant and enjoyed the use of the spa facilities and breakfast. Dirty glasses outside of the door but other than that everything was okay.

Lovely location and comfy accommodation with quaint buildings and shops. The room was very comfortable and nice and warm as it was a very cold day. We were only there for one day at a family wedding so couldn't take advantage of the spa facilities. The shower was just the large square overhead type which made it difficult to shower without getting your hair wet. A smaller hand held shower attachment with bracket would have been better. We would have expected breakfast to be included at a daily price of £124.

Beds were very comfortable, curtains and carpet shabby , very good service , hotel cozy in general with nice bar , the main and only let down was the kicking out at 11am sharp with very harsh no leeway instructions , it put a dampness to a otherwise very nice stay

Nice staff, lovely large clean Family Room - but a bit noisy Friendly reception staff, nice large clean Family Room, large comfy beds. Quite noisy in the morning, and could hear occupants/doors in the adjoining rooms from early in the morning (07:30 onwards). Also quite a noisy corridor outside the room - although this may have been as it was for the Family Rooms, so more children, etc...
