We booked this weekend as a birthday treat as the spa and treatments appealed to us both.
The room was basic but had everything you needed. The shower was awful so we used the spa showers as they had decent pressure on them. The room looked clean but wasn't clean clean on closer inspection. I wouldn't normally be so picky but we spent a lot of money and expected to get what we paid for. If you are a weekend guest make sure you book in for the spa and thermal suites as they don't tell you this at reception and you will miss out just go directly to the spa and book. The staff are all really nice friendly and helpful. Take a £1 coin for the lookers and some sliders. Don't pre book evening meal not worth the money the bar food looked better and was better priced we were again expecting better for the money paid. If you have booked a treatment make sure they give you a free robe to use other wise will cost you £5 none refunded. Should be aiting in your room had to go and ask for one. The infinity pool over looks a carprk and now new build houses 🤷 not the best view I must say. Won't stay again still had a lovely weekend just expected more for what we paid. If you have a treatment ask for Sam she is amazing!

Hotel and staff were good but booking a Spa break is a joke. We were only allowed an hour pre bookable slot to thermal suite as they were busy. Not exactly what i would call a spa break! Had we been warned this in advanced we would have chosen a spa with full access to enjoy our family break for my 60th birthday celebration. Really disappointed

Nice stay but wouldn't return. Breakfast was good. Rooms are a good size. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Amenities were not great. I had to pay adult prices for my two teenagers and they could only access the pool. Which is quite small and got overcrowded quickly Food very expensive Incredibly hot rooms, very difficult to cool down. Ridiculously hot showers.

Rooms ok, the estate is interesting. Breakfast service in the "pub" is not big enough to serve for large parties, so be prepared for a long long wait.

One of the best hotels 5* everything it was amazing 😁 There is no privacy in the ladies changing rooms for people who are body conscious. Other than that absolutely fantastic.

Exceptional Friendly service, bar area nice with reasonable prices for a hotel. Clean large room, comphy bed. Didn't have evening meal but had pizza in the Drop Inn instead, very tasty 😋. Breakfast varied and tasty too. Nothing

Have ruined the location by a housing estate having been built on the surrounding land blocking the views.

brilliant 5 star review from me. I like everything it’s amazing. BUT I disagree with one thing, the ladies do not have a private changing room. for people who are body conscious . I had to go in the toilet to get changed with a number of other lady’s wanting to do the same thing. you need at-least 2 private changing rooms with a curtain. everything else is 100% 5star. thanks for my stay but it would be nice for you to think about people like me who don’t like to get changed in front of other woman. Brilliant value for money on lovely grounds. Had a spa weekend with the Mrs in the middle of Jan and we loved it. Spa access was much needed and we both left feeling very relaxed. Would definitely recommend staying here or even going for the day to use the spa facilities. Meal in the evening was delicious too

Rooms in the hotel were tired and needed updating but were clean. Spa was basic. But the treatment rooms and the treatment itself were very good. Food was excellent, in the pub at lunch, the evening meal and also breakfast. Good value overall for the overnight spa break. We were lucky with an amazing sunset during our stay.

Nice hotel for a one night stay. The Spa facilities were nice, and staff were friendly. The bar and restaurant looked lovely with a nice atmosphere, albeit we didn't have the chance to make use. The room was clean and spacious. The pillows were very uncomfortable, which left both my friend and I with aching necks and headaches, and it was extremely hot in the night. The doors also slam shut every time. In the middle of the night I was woke up a number of times by other guests talking in the corridor and going in their room. it actually makes the bed shake a little when the door slams. I also would say that in the thermal spa, there was some really inappropriate behaviour by other couples, which made it uncomfortable and awkward for us and other guests. Another lady and her daughter got out and left because she felt too uncomfortable. I appreciate you can't control peoples behaviour, but having some supervision of that area might help. Everyone is entitled to enjoy the facilities without feeling like they are in someone's bedroom. On a final point, we arrived in the evening, around 6pm and there wasn't enough parking. We had to perch on the very end where there wasn't a space, which wasn't ideal.
