The use of the spa was lovely
The room was really nice cosy and very clean
Just a bit of an issue about using discount vouchers for the meal at the Drop in inn and breakfast discounted meal as staff seemed to have problems accessing the vouchers however staff were very polite about things snd tried their best to help

Everything is always great here, food service and food. The shower didn't work in our room, but couldn't fault the way the staff handled it, still had a fab stay.

It was just a quick overnight for us with our two dogs. The were £25 per night each but sadly unlike other places we’ve Quirky dog place located in well maintained grounds in its own little village with gift shops , hair dressers , cafes and a games hub all in quaint little buildings. Room 79. The extraction fan was not working in the bathroom, it’s a must in a room with no ventilation and should have been fixed immediately on reporting but we were told it would be next day.

Excellent breakfast
Room needs some TLC... shower refurbishment.. window sill and net curtains could do with a clean.

Location, cleanliness and service cannot be faulted. It was not a cheap stay. The use of the spa and optional treatments are an advantage.
We did not use the restaurant for either dinner or break. We felt
nearly £19 for breakfast was a little expensive.

A friendly comfortable hotel with cottages available. We booked a cottage which was quiet, very comfortable and warm, not far from the hotel, The availability of a full body massage at the Spa was wonderful. The manager's help in helping my husband connect to the EV charger was much appreciated. All the staff gave good service and were welcoming and helpful.

Not impressed with room, very tired although bathroom was clearly new and luxurious. Food at breakfast was undercooked, pale and barely warm.

Having access to the pool and sauna was nice.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The bar area is nice and relaxing
The rooms are nice and well presented..
Some areas were untidy with glasses and dirty plates left in the corridor.
The staff on the bar were quite slow with a large amount of dirty glasses left on the end of the bar.
The sauna wasn't as warm as it should be, quite disappointed.
The pool wasn't as warm as it was during our first visit.

Very good stay, excellent breakfast and dinner. Pool and spa clean, needs a few more seats round pool. Only issue was bed topper, and load family at 4am. Other than that would go back.

A very agreeable place to stay. It’s was a very nice place to spend some time. Rambling with lots of comfortable places to watch the world go bye. The breakfast was a little bit basic. There was an option for full English vegetarian or meat and the usual continental. It did not feel at all special though and more options would have been welcome. E.g. eggs benadict.
