Great spa shame about the rest The spa The food in the pub which could do with a make over and never been in a hotel that never cleaned the room or checked to see if we needed anything during our stay torn curtains spot lights outside light up the room at night and the location is in the middle of a housing estate no country side views you expect from the pictures

Awful service! Booked this hotel for our guests for our wedding close by. We went to stay prior to the wedding to check it out. Rooms are dated, service is shockingly poor when asking for assistance. Booking is not done through the hotel and confusing if you want to ask anything. 50% of our guests had a bad experience here. Watch out for all the extras they charge you for too…
Won’t be going back!

Amazing staff. Small rooms. The staff couldn't do more for you. Infact it was a very hot evening and they had run out of fans, explaining my dog was struggling in the hot room the staff went out and purchased more! The spa was nice and relaxing. The hotel is huge and there's plenty of space to go and have a drink/food in different locations, all dog friendly too. Breakfast was incredible, loads of choice and super fresh. Plenty of grounds to exercise your dog too. The room was small, and the carpets didn't look the cleanest, also smelt a bit like smoke. I would say expensive. Evening food (pizza round the back pub) wasn't great.

Very good as usual We have stayed a few times. We love the location, the clean rooms, friendly and informative staff. Always enjoy the breakfasts. This time we wanted room service at 8pm. We were told there wasn’t any for an hour because the kitchen was busy. If the kitchen is too busy, understandably at supper time, it should be made clear on the menu - it was disappointing and resulted in a car trip to Sainsburys as we only wanted a snack after a six hour journey.

Very comfortable overnight stay, I look forward to my next visit A lovely hotel and location, all members of staff were extremely helpful and friendly, proper northern hospitality, nothing too much trouble. My reason for staying at the hotel was an event held in the Pennie room, the staff were all very efficient and the catering ran smoothly, the three course meal was served hot and delicious. Drinks perhaps a little expensive🙁so consequently I didn’t get too drunk🥴. Thank you to all the staff. Although there is a spa on site there is an extra charge to use it if your not on a spa package. I thought the extra charge a bit excessive.

I've known the Last Drop all my life, was a bit surprised on our present, after quite a few years, at all the house building on what was once a green field outlook. When your looking out you get the impression the hotel and spa have been built in the middle of a housing estate. But inside the hotel it's still as classy as ever.

Very pleasant hotel and bar. The room was good and comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good too. Nice comfortable seating area in the bar when not drinking or eating. Nothing really springs to mind. Everything was as expected. Perhaps a top up of shampoo and shower gel would have been useful, especially when staying for more than one day / night.

We stayed at the Last Drop Village and Spa for 3 nights for a city visit. It was ideal for us as we were visiting Manchester and going g to the Lake District. The rooms were good. There were clean (we inspected!) and quite spacious. We were 3 adults in a Classic Family Room. However, there were a number of cracks on the walls and not plastered up well... this was the only downsize to the stay, but it didn't affect our stay.
The service was phenomenal! All of the team were polite and extremely helpful. A massive shout out to Rosie, on front desk who was super helpful if providing items and information when required. The breakfast here is amazing. You have a wide variety of foods and if you are a vegetarian or vegan, there are food options here also, just ask! The aesthetics of the grounds were serene, picturesque. We took a walk around the grounds to discover the pub, bridal shop, hair salon and more. It truly is a little Village with its own postbox. And surprisingly a helipad too! (For those who want to arrive in style!) The hotel leads to the countryside and golfing facilities nearby for those who take up the sport.
The spa is wonderful. You enter in through the changing rooms, to the main pool and from there, you have access to the thermal journey spa area- this was most enjoyable. The thermal pool was warm with a small 'waterfall' to allow it to hit on your back. Just outside of the thermal pool are the 6 sauna/steam rooms, each with their own function to evoke relaxation and a refreshing shower to help you hydrate alongside the water fountain. There is a limitation on timing to the facilities (only because of its popularity with the local residents). Guests can use it until 1pm and after 8pm without booking, however you do not need to pay to book if you want to use if during 1pm and 8pm, just notify at the spa reception - delightful!
It was a shame we didn't have more time to eat at the restaurant itself, but I am happy to know of this charming oasis to return on another occasion in the future. Highly recommended!
