I had a really nice stay recently, and enjoyed the gym, swimming pool and spa facilities.
Breakfast is good and gluten free options are available. I was to have dinner as well but restaurant staff didn't recognise my interest, so had food at s local Italian restaurant instead.

Ok Dining options, bar and leisure facilities on site. Plenty of parking. Food and drink prices a bit high considering the quality. Not bad but not great.
Rooms were adequate but noise from adjacent rooms was obvious.
I personally didn’t get on with the pillows, nowhere to hang stuff in the bathroom.

Was good for the price, great entertainment Facilities were great. Entertainment in the pub was excellent, even with a tough crowd who seemed to be adverse to putting their hands together for a great performance. Did get a free history lesson from a local The room was very dated, looked like a military issue family accommodation. We did get an upgrade. No tv in the bedroom

Good , would stay again Comfortable bed. Nicely decorated room .I specifically asked for one of the rooms by the quad with the fountain as easy to access with dog - thanks for accommodating tbis Dog bowl provided was dirty
Cracked sink in bathroom.
Bathroom only had large shower head so would have had to get hair wet and no shower cap provided until I asked for it
Bottle of water in room would have been nice

We were attending our friend’s 70th in Bolton so thought we’d make a weekend of it by staying overnight at the Hotel and Spa. We know the Last Drop well having lived in Bolton many years, but it’s a long time since we actually stayed overnight there. We booked a cottage suite, which was nicely tucked away, comfortable and cosy. We were pleased with the space and the general facilities, though there could have been more milk, tea and coffee available, we had to ask at reception for more. Also, biscuits would have been nice! We were too late booking to get in the spa on Saturday afternoon but went after breakfast on Sunday morning, when you don’t need to book. We enjoyed a swim and the hot hydro pool, but the showers needed a clean and the hairdryers were a waste of time!
All in all we had a good stay and thought it worth the. Obey for all the inclusions (breakfast and spa) in our package. We’d definitely recommend this hotel.

Well worth a stay in this beautiful village environment Great facilities all in one place- a pub, resultant, bar/resturant, shops including bakery, pottery, clothes, hairdressers. Excellent pool and steam room/ sauna in the ‘spa’. Beautiful village atmosphere. Nothing!

Set amongst a housing estate with views to match this hotel complex offers a night away from home just outside of dreary depressing Bolton. You are based eating at the complex rather than venturing into town for your own safety! The hotel staff were helpful and professional from the reception through to the bar and restaurant. The food was fairly priced and the surroundings comfortable. The rooms however are tired and shabby, stained curtains and carpets, the grout on tiles missing in the bathroom, broken toilet roll holders and plugs. The beds were comfy though and the bedding clean. The spa is popular, the gym had plenty of equipment. The pool is a good size, the saunas and steam rooms were not as clean as you would like and actually were not very warm? The changing rooms were inadequate- no cubicles, broken doors, showers you can’t swing a cat in, grubby and holes so big you can see through to the fabric of the building! Overall desperately in need of some investment.

Went for mums 70th(6 of us -mix of ages 36-70).. Great amenities with everything under 1 roof and the location was handy being only 1hr from Liverpool. Rooms were basic but clean so all you needed, and great atmosphere of a night. Staff were one of the friendliest and polite ive seen in a long time. Excellent value for money (we did all inclusive overnight stay) Slightly noisy in the mornings with slamming doors from other guests but no big issue as I'm an early riser anyway and not hotels fault. Although service was slow at tea time, it was busy and staff are so friendly so wasn't a big deal. Spa was lovely especially the treatment (be restful)
Would definitely recommend and 1000% will return. Highly recommend for a girls night away as we rejuvenated from mum life :)

We enjoyed the spa. It was wonderful. The room was ultra clean, the bed very comfortable. What more do you need, biscuits...i needed biscuits. The food is sooo good too. Evening meal a bit pricey and cheapest wine £30. But if your pushing the boat out what the hell.
Well recommended.

Lovely hotel overall but unfortunately rooms are old and tired. Beautiful area, spa was nice enough. Lovely restaurant and bar area although we didn’t eat in. Spacious room and bathroom appeared fairly new. Staff were wonderful, helpful and polite. Rooms are very outdated, mattress was solid so not comfortable to sleep on. Old carpets with marks/ stains, one window in the room would not open, unable to use the iron as something had been burned onto it. Cups and spoons in the room weren’t clean.

Was apprehensive due to some negative reviews but overall the revive in 50 package was great value.
The massage from Holly was exceptional. The restaurant, reception and bar staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Really good food, large portions and great drinks selections.

Pool area not as clean as it could be, definitely take flip flops or sliders as the floor isn't overly clean looking. Some areas in spa out of action and was busy.

Lovely room, however previous guests room service glasses rtc left outside the room and had to ask reception to clear these also no robes in room. Reception swifty sorted both of these.
Some intoxicated guests causing a lot of noise around 2am, no staff or security around to resolve and went on a good hour disrupting sleep.
Great breakfast selection and 11am checkout was much appreciated
Overall, we did enjoy it and thought it was good value.

Hotel needs some serious investment. Staff were friendly. I enjoyed the swimming pool. The bedroom suite was basic, small bed, instant power coffee, no spare toilet roll. The thermostat on the radiator didn’t work & we were cooked overnight. The spa/changing rooms were not very clean. There were broken lockers, broken showers, broken tiles, chewing gum stuck to the mat in the showers. Breakfast was poor quality, coffee was disappointing, scrambled eggs served cold.
