Winter spa experience. Lovely hot stones massage. Very pleasant masseur called Geraldine.
The steam room was good and the indoor/outdoor infinity pool was lovely and warm.
All was good until a group of rowdy young men came jumping in filming each other in the outdoor pool. They were loud and rude and continued to film each other even after a request from a young woman to stop.
Not sure if it was worth £75 and I won’t return.

Good location for the wedding
Room was adequate fur our needs
Bed was softer than we are used to.
Pillow inserts not as clean as we would expect for a hotel.

Adequate for our needs on this occasion It was a quaint set up at Bolton with quirky small businesses around the main hotel. The spa and gym looked popular although I didn’t use it. Main reception was inviting and staff helpful The bed was uncomfortable for me and the pillows dirty from Ill fitted covers

Cheap and cheerful The spa was nice, the evening meal in the restaurant was nice. The rooms are very tired and require some updating, also, the pub could do with a refurbishment

The location, the meal in clocktower was very nice and breakfast the following morning , did have to ask 3 times for coffee with breakfast , just a couple of niggling things , but the stsy very pleasant. No communication, between staff , the room allocated to us had not been vacated previous guest stayed another night so we were given the key to that room, then given another room but was on the next level , but was not asked if we were okay with stairs ,in the new room one of the glasses in the bathroom was dirty ,we only had 1 large towel we inly notice late in the evening this room seem to be for single occupancy,.we changed our booking for our evening meal from the pub to the restaurant but when arriving at the restaurant both booking still stood ..
The bedside light didn't work properly .
Breakfast was very busy ,forgot to bring our coffee and had to ask 3 times for it.
But all above didn't spoil our stay for the one night it was very nice and welcoming would consider staying again .

Spa, pool and gym Breakfast wasnt included and we had to pay for breakfast. This was fine, although an adult breakfast was the same whether you had a cooked breakfast or not. I only had toast and yoghurt but this cost £18.00. We were also told later if we'd paid in the restaurant the children's breakfast were free. We weren't aware of this and were charged for them at reception

Absolutely lovely from booking to leaving. Nice warm room, near to spa entrance. Helpful friendly staff. Good, reasonable priced food, delicious! Nice peaceful break, loved the shop, pub bar etc etc! Just the quick get away we needed, can't wait to return!

A mix of family and business purpose then blended better than expected in this hotel The biggest think the group will remember will be watching sunset from an outdoor infinity pool in December. Though a bit tired in the changing rooms, the spa and pool were really very good. A lovely surprise. Nothing not liked as such, but noticed a fair amount of wear and tear

I attended for a spa day and whilst the treatment was lovely I was very disappointed with my visit. We have visited this spa for many years and feel that with each visit you get less and less for your money. Less time in the relaxation room, no refreshments, no slippers. The whole day is getting shorter and shorter. Bring back the coffee machine and infused water.

Absolutely fantastic stay and Last Drop in a superb location. The location is beautiful. The hotel was clean, warm and dog friendly. Their lack of alternative milks. Their only choices are soya and oat which are both very high sugar. As someone who has to eat differently for medical reasons that was hard.

Nice and relaxing weekend It was just a nice relaxing break, the spa is nice the hotel is nice and friendly staff. We enjoyed the act that was on in the drop inn pub on the Friday night. Had a meat in both the drop inn and the main hotel and both were spot on. Franco kept my dog supplied with chopped sausages which was a nice touch. Just needs a bit of paint here and there. Breakfast is nice, but for the money it's not the best value. For a large bloke it's not big enough. Sausages should come in pairs. A few years back it was buffet style where you took what you wanted which was better.

We went mid December, and found that the Xmas decorations were a bit lackluster. No real central Xmas tree to be seen in the lobby.
