The hotel staff blew us away, they were simply excellent The breakfast was reall good but what made this place special was the staff, every single staff member was exceptional. They made the place and experience phenomenal, I've never stayed in a place where all staff are so accommodating, welcoming, helpful. They treated us extremely well and attended to our every need (,receptionists, bar staff, kitchen staff, cleaners) That they've built houses right next to this place. It used to have a phenomenal view of the moors. You could soak yourself in the hydro pool and look out at the view...but no more!

Stay over for our 1st wedding anniversary, the check in was smooth and quick. We could book our evening meal time and breakfast. The room was large and clean. The spa was great, nice hot sauna, lovely pool area with plenty of loungers to relax on. The evening meal was fantastic. I had the hake and the wife had chicken, both very nice. The staff in the restaurant were great, specially Franco, he is a credit to the hotel. The breakfast was very taste. All the food was hot and you could tell is was cooked fresh.

lovely stay, thermal suite desperately needs cleaning and maintenance. the room was lovely, staff friendly and bar food good. whilst a good set up unfortunately the Spa, thermal suite in particular was in need of general maintenance and cleaning. the facilities in this area were both dirty and unattended by staff. this did not ruin our stay but absolutely must be attended to if we were to stay again.

Good The setting, the staff and the wedding function room and buffet were lovely The wedding DJ was amazing. Doors were noisy on entry and exit, anxious of disturbing people. No hair dryer so couldn't wash my hair and for £95 there should be one but didn't complain.

Amazing Breakfast Staff Staff is amazing especially Breakfast Restaurant Manager I'm not sure what is her name but I think Isabela. She is one of the best in the hospitality industry how we meet. We travel a lot and stay in a lot of hotels and when we meet people like her is a good feeling that you can see the passion for customer care is still there and is not there just for the money. Thank you for your work. We will return. We have a good time the only thing what we miss a minibar or a small fridge in the room what you normally have in a 4* hotel. But is not a big deal you can leave without.

Me and my husband got married at the last drop on the 24th September. I can’t fault anything about it, every aspect of the day was perfect. The staff were amazing especially Nassa and Jane. The wedding breakfast was perfect, even better than I could of imagined and everything was just brilliant. A very special thank you to Liz Blackmore our wedding planner, she took care of every aspect of the day and kept me calm through the whole 16 month process. If your thinking about having your wedding here do it. The hotel rooms are beautiful and the breakfast was great the next day, I even had a facial and massage the next day in the spa which was amazing. Thank you so much to everyone at the last drop for making mine and my husbands day amazing.

Fabulous morning at the spa. Treatment by Leanne was amazing! She was so friendly and felt really comfortable with her. The afternoon tea was great too! Would just like to have had access to water/cups in the spa and not just the fountain.

The hotel is very good the staff are excellent. Because the world is about making lots of money Emerson have taken away what the Last drop was about. If it is a spa break you want then it's no different from any of hundreds of other hotels available. The old world charm it had has been removed by the large housing development at the entrance.

The staff were all good. The room was comfortable and clean. The food was good. And the spa was brilliant - one of the best hotel spas I have been in. The prices are reasonable. I’m going back next month!
Having said that, be aware that there are numerous stairs to negotiate - the hotel has several different blocks and there seemed to be a couple of steps on the way to each. It wasn’t much of an issue (I just had to pick up my rolling case each time) but I guess it might be for some people.

Lots to do and see at the facility. It's spread out so you don't feel cramped like you do in many hotels. Lots of things to do on site and wander around the historic buildings. Bring your gym/swim clothes with you. The recreation facilities are very well equipped.

Lovely stay, the complex has anything you can ask for: restaurants, a spa, treatments. You are also able to do a countryside walk. Also very close to the train station. We are looking forward to come back.

My husband and I were given a voucher for a spa experience last Christmas, and we saved it until a quiet month, so it was a highlight for October. The high tea was lovely - they gave me the pescatarian option - but the highlight of the day was the relaxing treatment in the spa treatment centre. we both picked a back exfoliation, back massage, finished off by a head massage. My therapist was Leanne, who explained everything very thoroughly, let me choose the most appropriate oils and gave me a very professional massage. it was a truly amazing experience, something I haven't tried before, but will definitely try again. The heat treatment rooms and outdoor pool finished the afternoon off nicely. All the areas were lovely and clean, and the staff in the spa, restaurant and bar areas were really helpful, friendly and polite. It really was more of a highlight for the month than I expected.

My friend and I came to the Last Drop for a spa treatment, evening meal, bed and breakfast. The package cost was very reasonable.
We started our afternoon in the Spa having a full body revive scrub treatment the therapist was great she was firm and it felt amazing, she was polite and professional.
We spent another couple of hours enjoying all the spa facilities, which were all clean and well kept.
The hotel room was very clean and well kept with everything you might need, the bed was comfortable.
The evening meal was beautiful and cocktails were delicious. All the staff are polite and professional will definitely be returning for another visit.

The thermal spa is lovely and enjoyed the saunas and hot pool with outdoor infinity pool.
Room was tired, thin walls, old decor. Ensuite Bathroom modern style, nice shower.
Tried to order room service and no answer, tried reception and they put through to an extension and still no answer. Used Deliveroo instead.
Breakfast was a nice spread of cooked food and pastries.

Over all a decent spa, it’s starting to look a bit tired and grubby in places, could do with a bit of a freshen up with the changing rooms etc. staff are nice and treatments are good.
