I visited in October for a Pre Natal massage and facial, Leanne was my therapist and was absolutely wonderful, she was tentative throughout my full treatment ensuring I was warm enough and comfortable, she took extra care and made me feel soooo relaxed! I recommend her highly, the spa itself it’s just ok but she made the experience well worth it!!!!

We had use of the spa and gym facilities, and also enjoyed an afternoon tea! Some walks nearby that were good to explore the area. Service in the restaurant was great, food enjoyable. Would go again! Thanks

The spa treatment was the best I’ve ever had!! I’ve been for massages before and asked for firm and always been just a little disappointed however today Leanne who did my “be relaxed” treatment was AMAZING!! She knew exactly the areas that needed to be worked on and boy did she work on them! In her own words she was like a”dog with a bone” she kept going until she was happy with the outcome. Absolutely brilliant!!! Would highly recommend her.

I stayed here while visiting a friend who lived in Bolton. My first impression was of an interesting hotel, with a lovely bar and some sweet little shops, like its own tiny village. It even has a place where you can paint pottery!

My room was quiet and spacious , with a comfortable bed and a nice selection of tea and coffee. It was mostly clean, but the carpet was filthy; even with its brown and beige pattern the ingrained dirt was visible.

The inside security lock didn’t work, and while I didn’t feel unsafe, I would have liked the additional security.

The shower was awful—I swear I got wetter in the rain walking from my car to my room—and it took a full TEN MINUTES (I’m not exaggerating) for the water to run hot. I had given up and was washing my hair with cold water when it finally ran warm and I could shower properly (albeit with cheap and quite stingy complimentary toiletries).

Breakfast was very good, and the bar was comfortable with good service even when it was crowded. In fact, I can’t fault the service right across the hotel. Everyone was friendly and helpful, even when I told them about the issues with the room.

The spa facilities are lovely, and everything was clean. It wasn’t at all crowded on a Saturday afternoon at 3pm, which was a pleasant surprise. The hydrotherapy pool was particularly pleasant after a long day of driving and standing and bendy over clay at a pottery class. I had two treatments the next day, which were heavenly.

Overall, for the price I paid I wasn’t overly impressed. Maybe I just got a duff room, but I wouldn’t go back in a hurry (except for more spa treatments!)

Perfect place for a night away, Spa facilities, good bar with SKY sports and good food in restaurant.
Rooms are good and bathrooms immaculately clean. Would definately recommend to anyone wanting a 1-2 night break away.

From first meeting our wedding co-ordinator, Jacqueline Tulloch she showed us the Harmony Suite which was perfect for our wedding, going through every detail and making our whole day perfect.
The location was lovely with its own spa facilities and plenty of areas to keep your guests together for drinks and snacks. A special thanks to the Restaurant Manager and his staff
The only thing we could find fault with was we could not change the weather. Well done Last Drop you pulled out all the stops.

Limited menu. Poor cleanliness (limescale and mould in spa). Overpriced restaurant and experience. Spa facilities now face new build houses. Staff unwilling to assist and rush you out the door on departure. I have stayed numerous times at The Last Drop Village and unfortunately it has gown down hill. Unable to access on site carvery/pub as this was booked out (not stated when we booked.) We were given a £10 voucher for booking directly through the hotel which we was told we could not use when purchasing drinks at the bar! Bar staff also did not let us use the ‘3 x free glass of wine on entrance’ voucher so value would have been better booking through Booking.com or elsewhere.

However, rooms are clean and comfortable well equipped with everything you would need. We had a great sleep. Luckily the spa was not too busy. Lots of different things to do on the facility I.e. spa, pottery, shopping. Afternoon tea was delicious (although overpriced for what we got.)

Lovely hotel with great facilities.
We stayed one night, had dinner in the Courtyard restaurant and breakfast there in the morning.
The room we stayed in was a little bit dated but apart for that everything was perfect. All the staff were very nice and helpful, the facilities in great condition. The food was lovely. We used the spa in the morning which was also great, well maintained to a high standard.
I definitely recommend this hotel for a romantic getaway and we will come back!

Annual spa weekend with friends, lovely rooms next to each other, fabulous dinner and breakfast. Spa treatments were amazing and there are nice shops on site outside if you want a treat for yourself or friend. Comfortable seating areas near the bar to relax with drink or a coffee.

Relegated for rugby team Location was lovely Unable to access some parts because French rugby team were staying. It would appear the Euro is more powerful than the the GBP? OK so it was only the pub and there was another bar in the hotel but still being made to feel less important is not great customer service in my opinion

We got married Saturday October 8th At the Harmony Suite at Last Drop and it was PERFECT.

The entire team at Last Drop are experts when it comes to weddings. Liz was phenomenal, and a calming presence, in the lead up to the wedding. Nothing too much hassle for her. Always reachable, and a credit to Last Drop.

We stayed the Friday before the wedding, and the little details were just perfect. From the reception team knowing who we where on arrival, asking us about the wedding and making us feel welcome. To chats with the director of the hotel who was also aware of the wedding. We were made to feel special from the moment we set foot on site.

The bridal suite was absolutely stunning! and the courtyard also a very special place, especially during the evening when lit up with fairy lights.

The day before the wedding, We were introduced to the master of ceremonies for our wedding Nassir (Sorry if I've spelt your name wrong!!) who was also incredible and made sure absolutely everything went to plan, including a last minute seating move! All perfect.

The ceremony went perfectly, the wedding breakfast immaculate- food delicious, everything served correctly according to dietary requirements for certain quests. All in all, an exceptional experience.

When we returned to our room after the wedding breakfast, the bed had been scattered with Rose petals and their was a towel arrangement made up to look like two swans forming a heart.

The evening party also went without a hitch and everything was as it should have been.

It's difficult to think of additional superlatives for the entire team and wedding experience at Last Drop, but just wanted to end with a heartfelt thanks to Liz, Nassir and the entire team.

Perfect from start to finish.

Thank You,

Daniel & Sophie

We recently got married at The Last Village September 2022. Best day ever. Jacqueline was our wedding coordinator & was so helpful & friendly from booking the wedding to the day of the wedding. She ensured the day ran smoothly, took care of everything to take less stress of me (bride). I’ll miss having to speak with her, she is so lovely. I was so picky in even choosing our room as we didn’t want the bridal suite & chose room 79 which was perfect for us, spacious & next to the conference rooms where the bridal party got ready. Would definitely picks rooms 79 or 80! We can’t wait to go back for our anniversary next year. Also the food was AMAZING!! I can not recommend this place enough. Only thing I would suggest if you was here for a wedding is to keep your room on for another night, checking out for 11am hungover after a day of partying was not fun & I lost things in the process.
