Stayed as part of the ‘autumn getaway’ deal and it was incredible value! We used the spa facilities and had an evening meal & breakfast there too. Great stay, great experience, great service from staff.

We booked a one night stay through the hotel itself as a Silver Wedding treat for us and our son. The rooms were amazing, very tidy, a bathrobe and slippers, ample coffee and tea and a warm radiator for those feeling the chill. We had afternoon tea on arrival and it was a tasty feast.
We then had an hour's countryside stroll, returned for a very hot bath and went for dinner. I had the tastiest croquettes as a starter, they were heavenly and my lamb dinner was simply excellent and with complementary wine the meal was wonderful. Breakfast the next morning was more than ample and the whole 24 hours was just an ideal way to celebrate our Anniversary.
Reception was good, efficient and helpful and Sarah and all those in the restaurant saw to our every need. I can honestly say we will return as we were so thrilled to visit such a high quality hotel, thanks to everyone at the Last Drop.
Everything was covid appropriate, nothing was too much trouble.

Been here many times and absolutely loved it, had a bad experience 2 weeks ago, due to drunken inconsiderate people, of which the hotel dealt with, for the inconvenience of it I was offered a discounted stay which I was thankful for, stayed on Saturday, had another fantastic night there with my partner and then decided to stay another night with our children, David longcake, the manager, ensured we was welcomed, happy and comfortable for the duration of our stay and couldn't of been anymore helpful, he was very friendly and a credit to the last drop village! All restaurant staff was as usual, very friendly, helpful and most of all happy, even during these testing times, receptionist was lovely and all amenities was as usual thoroughly enjoyed by the whole family, amazing place to stay for any occasion, I look forward to my wedding there!

Nice weekend, relaxing and staff are helpfull, I wasn't well during stay due to chronic condition allowed pre booked dinner to be taken into room, food was nice, spa although could have done with a bit longer was worth it in the price. Pool is about cold though.

Room was clean and comfortable, evening meal was nice and service excellent. Staff generally very friendly indeed. My spa treatment was really enjoyable, the young girl who did it was lovely. The bar area and restaurant were relaxing and comfortable. We recieved drinks vouchers too, which made the value for money even better. We got a great price for the package, which included 2no 50 min spa treatments DB&B for £319 including full use of the pool and hydrotherapy area.

However, that is where the positive experiences stopped. The spa experience left a lot to be desired, it was actually quite stressful not relaxing! This was down to two main factors - very poor communication and lack of hygiene. Some tips for you, take your own water as nowhere to get a drink of water in the gym; we were told we'd have to walk to the bar if we wanted some (yes, in our wet swimming clothes). You need £1 for the lockers! If you're staying over, your robes etc are in your room unless you go before check in and then they are only given to you before your spa treatment starts. The pool and hydrotherapy experience was first, pool was nice, as was the hydrotherapy infinity pool and steam room. The other rooms such as the 'aroma grotto' and the 'halotherapy room' are just weird. Cold, dirty and smelly. The changing rooms were awful, dirty, wet floors with towels and tissues strewn everywhere. The sinks and toilets were filthy too. Given the Covid rules, we were surprised to not see a single member of staff cleaning these areas the whole time we were there. Someone was meant to come in to clean the hydrotherapy area down at quarter past the hour. It never happened. The woman on reception in the spa was quite curt and unhelpful, but we put all this down to the staff probably feeling worried and upset about the announcement to go into second lockdown which happened the night before we arrived. So we were extra mindful of that and didn't complain.

Breakfast was ok, very fast service but the food was poor. Rubbery mushrooms and scrambled eggs. Tables were very close together, no social distancing and people were visibly uncomfortable. We didn't stay long.

Generally, it was an enjoyable experience but we wouldn't use the spa area again if we came back. We would return, however, for the bar, restaurant and comfy beds! The most comfiest bed I've slept in for a long time. But the rest needs a little work. Well done to the staff for their hard work and adapting to the ever changing Covid rules. We could see, and appreciate, they were trying their best.

The spa is fabulous especially the hydrotherapy pool, food is excellent and staff are very helpful. The deal we got was excellent value for money and booked through the hotel itself. Don’t bother with Expedia or other websites.
Will definitely be returning!

Good The spa and pool facilities were amazing! Very clean and relaxing. The room was fanatic. Especially the birthday cards they put out for us both made it more welcoming and warming for us. Rooms 101 and 103 that was opposite us was really loud all night they where slamming doors and screaming multiple times they were smoking cannabis whilst walking in and out of there rooms. I even Caught a lad walking down the hall way with a rather large cannabis stick in his mouth also we could hear them cracking balloons slamming doors all night and playing music really loud. This was the only down fall for are stay last night.

We stayed at the Last Drop Village and Spa as a last minute change of plans for my husbands 40th. I booked direct with the hotel which meant that we received £10 to spend in the bar/spa and a glass of wine each. This along with bed, breakfast and dinner for the night for just £100 represented excellent value.

Went we arrived we were great by the friendly reception staff who checked us in with no delay. We were allocated room 80, and we were not disappointed. Room 80 is very large, with a four piece en suite. The room was cool on arrival but soon warmed up once we turn the radiators up. My only slight niggle was a small and of mole/mildew in the shower area but it was clean.

We did use the hydrotherapy facilities which were wonderful, it’s a shame you only have a 45 min slot to use them but I do understand the restrictions as I would have stayed in there for hours.

We ate dinner in the main restaurant, the food was delicious, I had the lamb which was slow cooked and melted in the mouth. The service in the restaurant was perfect, nothing seemed too much trouble.
The bar staff were also excellent, and we never waited long for our next drink, even at the busiest of times.

Overall I will definitely be returning to Last Drop Village.

The Last Drop made the best of things during covid19. Social distancing was in place at all times. Shame the same menu was presented each of our 2 nights but it was early week so maybe expected.

Enjoy coming here , staff always friendly and helpful. We like the treatments and the hydro pool. The menu in restaurant was limited but due to the way things are due to COVID I understand that they don’t want to get lots of food in , we where waiting to see if the tier was changing while we were away . The restaurant did accommodate us tho
