The accommodation was spacious, comfortable and value for money for a business trip. Whilst the restaurant food was very good both in the evening and for breakfast, I was disappointed that my request for porridge at breakfast resulted in a salty gruel in the first instance. Despite my request for an unsalted slightly thicker version I was again presented with a salted though thicker porridge. I gave up and had an alternate breakfast. I'm puzzled as to why the porridge wasn't simply left plain for the receiptent to add either sugar or salt. It should be a customers choice and not one foisted on the diner. This aspect is the reason for the 3 stars for service as overall the staff such as Zoe at breakfast, Jasmine for the evening meal and Jean on reception were very friendly and professional. I would stay again and hopefully the porridge will pass muster :).

Very enjoyable stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms and all the leisure centre was clean. We had a two course dinner included in the price and it was delicious. Breakfast buffet was really good again. There is nothing negative to mention.

-in busy time no enough space in the spa - pre booked appointment to the posh restaurant. We wasn`t happy about the food, I have cancelled straight away the next. night. Next time ask the guest what prefer, which menu because the bar food is much better. -no fridge in the room. -room service breakfast overcooked (hash brown and the black pudding).

Overall very good,need to utilise the onsite pub more,seems pot luck when it's open or not,not everyone wants to sit in the hotel bar.Double check the deals being offered.Room was nice & very clean,spa facilities good.

The set up of the site, the spa facilities, we were there as wedding guests and the service from the staff, was impeccable Zoe ran a tight ship and we wanted for nothing, all the waiting staff that night were brilliant!! The food was AMAZING in fact so good as a visiting Yorkshire person, I wanted them to let the chef know that the Yorkshire puddings were amazing so I know Anthony the chef nailed it! As well as the beef! Comfy beds, clean bedding, great nights sleep after a fabulous celebration! Thank you all!

Check in was fine although had to ask for my complimentary drink for both of us which was only for wine. My husband drinks beer so couldn’t see why he couldn’t have a beer but never mind. Room massive cozy and amazing and that’s were the wow factor stops.
The spa is not really big enough for the size of the hotel and it was massively over crowded so we stayed for 10 mins and left. The girls at the gym /spa were a bit snappy not overly friendly.
There was a wedding on and we were woken at 2 am by noisy guests. I could hear literally everything that went on in the room upstairs.
We had a meal in the restaurant which was average. Not a lot of choice on the menu.
Bar area lacked atmosphere. Breakfast was average.
Full of hen parties and wedding guests.
Was hoping for a relaxing get away. Fell short of that so we won’t be returning.

Stayed at the Last Drop on a Spa Package as part of a 50th Birthday celebration.
Hotel is lovely all the staff are so friendly and happy and accommodating. A shout out to Amy and Leanne in the spa for some lovely treatments and to Bethany in the restaurant for looking after us so well.
It was very busy the day we went and the spa was packed it is well run though and they kept to time, just a shame it was so busy in the spa pool and relaxation room but that’s not a negative it was a Saturday and so to be expected.
The food in the restaurant was delicious served well and the staff were so efficient and friendly. The deal was dinner bed and breakfast and the menu choice was great, the bowland beef was absolutely amazing.
The room was an executive double and very nice, maybe a little tired but clean perfectly equipped with loads of towels, robes, slippers and tea, coffee etc and a decent TV not that we watched it!
Amazing hypnose bed that we wanted to bring home meant we had a fab nights sleep as well!
All in all a great stay and just short of the full rating as it is just a bit tired in places, corridors, carpets etc

Family wedding weekend
Food reasonably priced. Efficient service, even when busy. Breakfast included lots of healthy food and a range of foods to choose from. Always somewhere to sit in the shared areas. Parking was easy. Unfortunately we didn't get time to explore the shops and make use of the spa. Looked very inviting!
The location of our room meant a short walk in the rain and up steps. There was a continuous low noise that we could hear if we woke in the night ... a generator? However, I would still revisit this hotel and recommend to visitors to the area.

Me and my husband had our wedding breakfast and reception here on Saturday 4th June 2022. Our day couldn't have been more perfect. The staff at the venue couldn't do enough for us from start to finish. Being a person who overthinks and worries my whole wedding day was put at ease by our amazing wedding planner Liz and the team. We cannot thank our wedding planner Liz enough, she is AMAZING . From our first meeting with Liz up til and on our wedding day she could not do enough for us. Liz promptly responded to any questions/queries and made us feel so comfortable and at ease on our wedding day. Liz and the team ensured that multiple dietary requirements were met on our big day. Our master of ceremonies Zoe was also amazing ensuring the day and evening ran smoothly. Me and my husband want to thank the team at Last drop for making our day so perfect. If we could do it all again we would!

A relaxing stay was made 10x better by Paula Croft who gave me my treatment (40 minute Muscle Reviver massage)! Paula went the extra mile for me and made my treatment so much more comfortable, for example giving me pillows for my feet and making sure I was warm with blankets. If I have a treatment from Last Drop again I will ask for Paula straight away!

We stayed on a spa break and the overall experience was ok. The staff were really helpful & friendly so they can’t be faulted and the food was nice but the facilities weren’t great. The spa isn’t very luxury.. it was very overcrowded and the ‘infinity pool’ looks out over the main car park so not very relaxing. Our hotel room was very dirty.. even crumbs all over the floor so it clearly hadn’t been hoovered. It doesn’t look the same as online so we really overpaid compared to other spa breaks and probably wouldn’t go back.

There were no lifts, and it was a bit of a trek up a few flights of stairs of differing lengths. Someone did a poo in the Massive Jacuzzi, so that was closed, and we were not allowed to go in it, until the next day, we were leaving then so never got to use it. Most places do this, pouring the dregs of wine bottles into one bottle, behind the bar, naughty :( A few of the shops have not reopened after covid, which was a shame.
