We booked a room and wanted a bath in it, but the one we booked didn't have one. The receptionist changed our room to one with a bath no problem.
The room was very nice. The bed was awesome and very comfy.
The site itself is beautiful. It's actually a small village with shops, bar, pub and restaurant. The buildings are all beautiful.

I really enjoyed my stay. I'll be going back.

1 night with my mum to treat her in the spa & we left feeling so relaxed which we both needed. Staff were lovely, cheerful and helpful. Would highly recommend last drop as a get away! Will definitely be back with my partner & my mum for my birthday.

Lovely hotel in its own village and a nice area. Clean room and very comfortable bed. Travelling with a dog was made so easy with perfect room location. Breakfast was good and the restaurant very comfortable with really friendly and helpful staff. .

Recently visited with family, on arrival disappointed to be told that we could not use the on site pub as it was booked for private function and had been made aware in advance that Spa was out of use for maintenance on our first day.
We stayed in courtyard rooms which unfortunately are at the side of access path to the pub, so we were disturbed by revellers noisily leaving the pub.

Sandwiches in the bar were disappointing as served in sliced (supermarket?)bread.

Evening dined in the restaurant which we really enjoyed, food good and nicely presented and all staff very friendly and helpful, in particular the gent with foreign accent(unfortunately didn’t get his name).

Breakfast excellent and cooked to order.

Managed a brief session in Spa in morning, beautiful and the hot infinity pool amazing, pity outlook ruined by new housing development.

All staff very friendly and a real asset.

You still get the five stars but maintenance needs more attention, there is always something broken and repairs take longer than it should.

Wonderful and lovely hotel. Just been here for 1 night but had horrible experience in the breakfast room with 1 staff who is rude and unkind. Fun thing was nice to some people but to us was different story. Very rude. I am sure we re all people and we have right to be treated the same way, regardless our skin colour, where we come from, the language we speak. I don't want to put her name here but......let me not say much. Still have 2 days to go and I don't think I will go back to that breakfast room.

it is ok, but not luxurious. the pool was clean and nice and the showers in the changing room were good. the dessert was excellent for the dinner. I wanted to have a perfect stay, but there were a few issues… I had no hot water in the morning from around 7:30am until check out. It meant I couldn’t have a shower or bath, which I would have usually had. I told reception and she said “Oh sorry.” I was surprised it wasn’t a bigger issue. The spa facilities were closed but we weren’t told before booking or when we arrived, we found out when we went to use the sauna/hot tub etc and it wasn’t working. Sad for us as that was the main reason we stayed and if we knew, we wouldn’t have booked… When booking I asked if they could do something special for us for our wedding anniversary, and I would pay the extra on arrival… Or they could charge my card in advance. They did nothing at all, not even a happy anniversary wish, not even when we had dinner and breakfast, nothing at all above very average and no one tried to make it anything other than a dinner and a breakfast… It was a little disappointing. the dinner was good. the breakfast was not, the hash browns had not been made freshly and tasted so awful and the spinach was just a pile of cold, wet, spinach, no salt, seasoning etc. When we went to go to sleep there was a giant black hair in the bed too, which was sub optimal and definitely not ours.

Attended for assistance with a surprise for friends who were staying at the Hotel for a few days. Zakia at Reception was so very helpful and kind and assisted us - she went above and beyond. Thank you Zakia.

Difficult review to write, as so many things were really, really good, but as we pushed the boat out and spent about double on a weekend away, I felt that the experience was spoilt by a series of tiny things:

First the great: 99% of the staff were first class - polite, attentive, friendly. One chap may have having a bad day, but came across as very unhelpful and dismissive. Couldn't fault any other staff.

Bed was very comfortable. Room was large but filled with beds. Could have slept 5. But for a couple, I would have preferred less beds and more clothes storage and a table and extra chair. Carpet was a bit tired also. The hotel was generally very clean and tidy, although, some corridors had same litter in certain places all weekend.

Room was not serviced on first morning, which meant that we ran out of milk and coffee in our room

Food was very tasty, although a bit on the pricey side at times. Complimentary breakfast was very high quality.

Gym and spa facilities were very good. Gorgeous open air infinity pool - pity it overlooks a carpark!

We booked a late check out for 1pm. We got a call at 11.30 in our room politely asking why we had not checked out! Then at 12.30 our key card stopped working as I was trying to pack the car!

Little things, I know, but slightly annoying.

There is an on-site coffee shop which was not open on the weekend before Christmas, which just seemed like a missed opportunity.

As I say, so many good things, but spoilt by little things.

We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back Really friendly and helpful staff throughout our stay Loved the pool and spa area Great breakfast Nice bar Spa gowns were only included in the executive suites, would be better if available in all the rooms as most if not all guests will be wanting to use the spa and really, who would think to bring one with them?

Destroyed my stay with their lack of ability to sort a fire alarm out. Most complaining customers were given a free night stay however i was not offered this even tho i was listening to an exchange involving this. I felt like i dint mean Anything to them. Seemed like some kind of discrimination

Booked this through wowcher as a pre Christmas treat for sisters, auntie and mum. Rooms spacious and clean just a bit dated, beds comfy. Plenty of choice on the dinner menu and the breakfast was lovely too. A lovely venue.

Came to see before rebooking for a break as they was building last time. I’m glad I did as the houses they’ve built ruin the view. Which was one of the reasons I used to come. The room are lovely and spacious and very clean. The staff was always lovely.

Me and my friend booked the festive spa day, the facilities were really nice. This was followed by a treatment where we got a hot stone massage and a facial, Leeanne was fab at what she does the massage was perfect and just the right pressure. Leeanne then had a look at my skin and told me my skin type and used all skincare items to suit my skin. Left feeling amazing and will definitely be back! X

words really do not seem enough when trying to describe just how fantastic this place is .. Stunning views , facilities, rooms ... the list goes on -However i feel it is people that make a place special and this is where the Last drop village really comes into its own - Its team of staff are unbelievable- nothing is too much trouble for them - always friendly and chatty - I had my wedding here this week ( lots of guests / super busy ) - and the team handled it all with ease - My wedding planner Liz is literally a super hero - handled everything on the run up and still present on the day .. wedding are known to be stressful but not mine nothing but fun and laugher - even the snow on the day did not faze this team - all team members from reception , bar, waiting on staff - were 100% brilliant - Abbey and the bar staff even helped me carry all my gifts to my room at 1am in the morning ( in the snow ) !
the food for the event was served hot and delicious- we had singers at the meal so the poor staff had to server around guest dancing - again totally take in their stride - toast master ran a tight ship and helped all day x
The room set up was nothing but stunning - all our guests could not complement the day , venue , and staff enough all saying it was one of the best weddings every attended - all will be returning for stays 100%

Great location for our christmas business event today with the Best Of Bolton, and with our amazing local charity Back Up Northwest supporting the homeless across the North West...

Overall a lovely setting and very pleasant staff. The evening meal and breakfast was very good. The Spa has an Infinity pool but the view just looks out onto the car park so it does lose the ‘indulgence’ effect somewhat but it was at a good temperature despite the bitter cold. The Spa itself is a pleasant experience and the therapists carrying out treatments were lovey.

The team at Last Drop were absolutely amazing for my mums wedding on the 10th December .
From start to end Liz has been super and nothing was too much trouble for her ! On the wedding day Zoe again couldn’t have done more with nothing being a problem !
If you’re thinking of a wedding in the north West Last drop should be considered !
