So chilled a relaxed. Staff are so helpful. Spent too much in the village shops 😂. We went on the hotel map walk. Some staff didn’t know where it started. The trail could do with marking out property as we got lost 4 times 🙈. It was fun but we were late for lunch 🥗.

We booked the spring break getaway and couldn't believe the value. The whole village is lovely and relaxing, staff are great, the food was tasty. I would recommend book direct, as we got around £20 of free drinks vouchers. Would definitely return.

Everything was very nice with the hotel. The staff very helpful. Apart from the breakfast, that wasn’t great. I believe it was far too expensive and not a lot for your money. You get better value from the Premier Inn.

A lovely relaxing stay in the fabulous village. The staff were so friendly. It was great to relax in the spa pools and the food in the restaurant was top quality too. We will definitely be back for another stay soon.

Tired in places Pool was a nice feature though it seemed really busy given COVID restrictions.. Breakfast was good. Women’s changing room was piled high with dirty towels and didn’t get the sense anyone was cleaning them throughout the day. Lots of the showers had broken poles so had to hold the shower head. Room was tired with 2 out of 3 light bulbs not working, cobwebs in the bathroom and toothpaste marks on the vanity unit. Ate in the restaurant - food options were very limited but we enjoyed what we had

Looks lovely as you approach the hotel, there is a building site next door (houses being built) but never disturbed the peace. Hotel reception staff very friendly and personable, and even though we arrived early our room was ready. Room was ok ( we had a family room), it was clean and spacious but was nothing like the website, which shows scatter cushions, bed throws and pictures on the walls. Nice touch of chocolates in the room, but would be even better if there was one for each person (2 chocs but 3 people). There were only 2 robes and slippers but there were 3 of us, and whilst they said its for the adults only, they did provide a 3rd one for our son who is 13. The rooms and corridors in the sleeping areas are very dated and could do with an update. We had lunch on the terrace and we were served very quickly but there were other guests who had been waiting for an hour to be served. Lunch menu was varied, albeit some of the items were rather expensive. The outdoor area around the shops and the pub is a nice area to relax. The staff on the whole were OK, but some of the younger staff could benefit from some training as they really don't interact with the guests and some look as though they would rather be somewhere else. The staff seem to gather round the bar in the evening rather than clearing tables, offering more drinks etc.
We booked a table in the restaurant in the evening and the food was lovely (son said the sirloin steak was amazing). The main man on the restaurant was very efficient, and attentive. We booked the Spa for 4.30pm and arrived early but as it was quiet they let us in early, it was a lovely clean pool, plenty of seating and the hydro pool was great. Breakfast was lovely, husband said it was the best he had ever had (particularly the sausages).
Overall a decent stay.

Ok stay. Food was lovely. Spa was great. Rooms are dated and don't reflect the website pictures. Some staff are great, but quite a few of the younger staff need training, no interaction with the guests, slow service.

Would stay again. Very good value. Food lovely & got vouchers for free drinks & money off bill. The village it was located in was very picturesque & quiet. There is a lot of different attractions nearby too.

Good The spa and swimming facilities were amazing. The bed was really comfy. The location, scenery and setting was beautiful especially with the lovely weather. The staff were kind, friendly and helpful. The massage was perfect, just what we needed after working throughout the pandemic year. The cleaning facilities for covid were spot on, however people didn't follow the rules but that wasn't the hotels fault. We had to wait 2 hours for our breakfast which made us a little late to check out. Myself and my partner had asked for raisin crossiant and plain crossiant, we were given one small crossiant each however a few mins later I ordered all 3 crossiants and ended up with 6 crossiants all for myself, I would of preferred that amount the first time. The portion for breakfast is really small for the price of £16.50. When we first arrived, we were approached by a male approximately 50YO wearing a suit and with an Irish accent, who was quite rude. Instead of welcoming us, he instead asked us what we were doing here in a rude way. The room was okay, the decor was out of date compared to the pictures on the site. We paid for an executive room but didn't look like it. The safe in the room was broken so couldn't put any of our personal items away. We decided to have an afternoon tea on site, we were given 3x basic sandwiches ( ham & cheese, tuna and cheese & pickle), we would of liked different fillings which you wouldn't get anywhere else I.e roasted peppers & hummous , spicy chicken or local produce ( mini carrs pastie) . The desserts were good, the scones were delicious but we didn't get unlimited hot beverages, for the price of £ 33 and for the beautiful hotel & Spa, there should of been unlimited drinks. Over priced for what we received and the time we spent enjoying it.

A great Bank Holiday weekend The location is terrific, with lots of walks from the doorstep. The spa facilities were very nicely kept. The layout of the whole hotel was quirky, with the old buildings and new blending together. The little green spaces between the buildings were all available for guests to use for relaxation. The dog got a warm welcome too. Breakfast was a bit sparse.

Unfortunately I got to Last Drop Village too early in the day to be able to visit the main shop or try the food. I have been here before and it's ok.

My friend and I bought the spa package at Last Drop Village as we were desperate for a massage. Let’s just say this purchase did not disappoint! We had access to the pool, thermal suite and then a massage as well as Afternoon tea (which as I fussy eater I was dreading but it was perfect) and only for £69 (on a weekday). The masseuse was amazing and accommodating to my preferences. The only reason I am not giving it 5/5 is because the email we got to confirm the day said arrival time 9.30, swimming time 12.30 so we got there for 9.30 however we were then told that due to Covid we weren’t allowed in the pool area until 12.15. Now I completely understand the need for allotted times for the different areas however if the arrival time on the email is stated at 9.30 there should be something else to do between those time or it should say come 15-30 minutes before first slot. We decided to walk around the village which was lovely and luckily the weather was beautiful so there wasn’t an issue but many of shops were closed at that time and there wasn’t much to do but sit and wait. Other than that would 100% recommend.
