Pleasant Friendly welcome, good for the dog, cute gift shop. The hotel and rooms feel dated. The family pool is basic but fine.

An overnight spa break. the room was comfortable. Staff are professional and efficient. Every contact we had prior to and during the stay was excellent.
The spa was nice. the infinity pool hot! Just a shame about the idiots who ignore both the very obivous signs and staff directions NOT to use mobile phones/Cameras in the spa.
Breakfast was excellent, Well prepared, and for a buffet extremely hot. One of the best hotel buffet breakfasts we've had.

The only issue is the area around the hotel has been developed, so the view from the spa is over a housing estate, but its not an enclosed spa like most are.
The rooms could do with some sound proofing, we did have a herd of elephants above us. But it is an older building, so ask for a room/cottage on a top floor.

What made this a great stay was the staff experience. Faultess

Leisure facilities are great although looking out of the spa onto the car park and a new housing estate was a bit unexpected.
Room lacked quality and was tired in many areas and bathroom not stocked properly.
Carpets in corridor outside room was filthy.
Breakfast below expectations for a 4 star hotel.

Not the last time I'll visit The Last Drop The ease of checking in and out online. The great pool and spa. The restaurant had great food and friendly, efficient staff. The room was large and clean with a comfy bed. Nothing

Lovely staff and hotel. Gorgeous food and no wait for service. Reasonable prices for drinks and extras. Room was clean and bed comfy. No view though just looking at a door from the window which was disappointing as had asked for a nice view when checking in. I was disappointed to find that houses have been built in front of the hotel blocking the view of the hills and having the outdoor hydrotherapy pool overdoing the car park/ housing estate not the best idea(!) why not remove a few car park spaces and landscape around the pool area?! . Pool is a bit council looking but thermal suites were nice. My treatment was excellent would highly recommend Maria she was excellent! Last drop village lovely as always. Would like to go when everything is open though. Would also be nice if could order a newspaper for delivery. Lovely views at rear of hotel but not sure any of the bedrooms capture this. Nice walks.

Really basic cold room and felt dirt because of the state of the carpet. Very dear food menu and drinks very dear too. P free hydrotherapy experience. Dirty carpet in the room full of stains.

What an amazing venue, we booked our wedding here over 18months ago, after we had attended another wedding. The wedding co ordinators Liz, Jacqueline & Mia have been amazing keep us informed on every detail ready for our big day.
On the day Liz make sure everything ran smoothly and kept coming to visit me whilst getting ready to ensure I was okay, the day ran like a dream everything was done to perfection the venue Penny Farthing was beautiful. The food was very complimented by all who attended, nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff on the day of the wedding.
Honestly the full day was perfect and the quality of the food was excellent. The duty manager Nassa was brilliant he ran through everything with myself and the groom, he stayed for the full wedding ensuring that we all had the best time, the hotel room was dressed beautifully for us on the night of the wedding every detail was amazing.
Our wedding guest all had breakfast the next morning in the drop inn pub the day after which was perfect for us all.
The are not faults whatsoever about this place and we look forward to going back for our year anniversary.

Thank you so much everyone at last drop village for making our wedding day the day of our dreams.

Amazing place Amazing place and facilities We enjoyed everything, even had a romantic dinner at midnight next to the fountain, at a table of one of the restaurants (staff let us enjoy our moment). For sure we'll go again. *a mini fridge would be amazing to have in the room

The facilities in the spa were excellent. Jane in spa reception helpful whilst booking treatments and Leanne gave an excellent massage which helped with my neck and shoulder pain. We stayed in room 33 and there was an issue with the toilet which had not been cleaned but when no-one was available to clean this the on duty staff quickly arranged a change of room and offered a voucher to offset disruption. All staff were very pleasant and helpful

I really enjoyed my stay at the last weekend. The views at the pool were absolutely breathtaking. The steam rooms were really spectacular, worth every penny. The only let down were my hot drinks might as well have given me a cup of water and ice for an iced coffee, hospitality staff just seemed a bit off compared to the other staff. All in all a great place to stay

We stayed there for two nights as a 2+2 family. The room was spacious and comfortable. Only the pillows were not the best fit.
The staff was very friendly and helpful so five stars here.
The only minus was the limited choice and no coffee machine available for breakfast compared to other hotels.

The Spa Day was really nice and relaxing. The leisure centre staff polite and knowledgeable, beauty therapist professional - I really liked the choice of oils and cosmetics based on my smell preference! The afternoon tea had some bumps like over whipped dessert but the restaurant staff was lovely and rectified it right away for us. I would definitely go back!

Very good The location, facilities, staff, food was excellent. Really lovely and relaxing, just what we needed. Love the village vibe and the spa was great too. The room was extremely hot even though the heating wasn't on. Slept with all 4 windows open and it was still sweltering. During the night we slept with no covers, literally sweating.

Wow. We’ve just had our wedding at this lovely venue. From the planning to the day, Liz Blackmore looked after us and made sure our special day was perfect. If anyone is considering a wedding here please ask for Liz as your planner. You don’t be let down.

Thank you

Exceptional quirky and different, it’s nice having the different areas like the pub and little shops as well as the spa the only downside was having to be out of the swimming by check out time. we had arrived late then had to check out by 11am so only had a short time in the sauna

Very good The place and staff were amazing. Great wellness area with 5 different saunas and nice outdoor swimming (facing parking, unfortunately). Breakfasts could be mlwith some more range of vegetables but overall good stay. 👍🏻 Pillows and additional sleep sofa ot comfortable at all.

Superb clean comfortable room £140 for room only when we thought we were getting breakfast included. £37 for two breakfast’s ☹️ man on front of restaurant was quite rude thinking we were going to run out and not pay . We didn’t take any money down to breakfast with us and we were going to pay when checking out

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The staff in all areas were friendly and helpful. The food and service in the restaurant and the Drop Inn for our evening meals was excellent. The beds and armchairs in our room were very comfortable and the heating was easily controllable so I was able to keep warm (a must for me!) We enjoyed our use of the spa and just wished we'd had more time to use each of the steam rooms, etc. (There's always a next time though.) Loved the infinity pool though its such a shame it's overlooking (and overlooked by) the car park and new houses. The location of the hotel is great if you like to be on the edge of the countryside yet not far from civilisation. Available at receptio, there is a map of short walks nearby. We took a flask of coffee some biscuits and a picnic blanket and sat in a field next to the footpath just a short distance from the hotel and soaked up some much needed sunshine whilst enjoying the birdsong! Nearby is Egerton quarry which is like a little nature reserve. Turton Tower with beautiful house and gardens and lovely outdoor seating areas is not far away on foot or by car and well worth a visit. My only niggle with the hotel and spa was in some areas where the cleanliness was just below par and some of the artwork in the corridors needed attention. I'm sure these small oversights will be addressed though as the comfort and enjoyment of the guests is important to the staff. The tea room wasn't open for some reason; I was looking forward to a cream tea there.
