fab place for a wedding !

Room was a little scruffy with net curtains which had marks on them. I was with a friend for a wedding, and had booked a twin room, but ended up with a double - due to timings of the wedding had no availability to ask to change rooms. Breakfast, even pre-booked was expensive. I'm a vegetarian and there was a good selection, however as it isn't a buffet breakfast, you only get 1 of each item- if you want the full selection then it is a large breakfast, but having paid the same price as everyone else, I would have expected to have least been offered 2 of everything. We only received small cups of coffee and pots of tea- asked for more but never received them. The wedding itself was amazing and the staff worked really hard. The wedding meal was great and the food plentiful.

Have been staying for the past four weekends due to working in the area.
Fantastic is the only word possible. All of the staff I encountered were brilliant. Both in the hotel and the Last drop Inn.
I have to mention Kaitlyn from reception, absolutely brilliant, friendly, engaging, happy to chat and entirely professional..she is absolutely an asset to your business.

I never received any of my silver or gold hotels.com member rewards so I had to pay £29x 2 =£58.00 for breakfast silver rewards

When I asked about the two free welcome drinks I was told we have stopped this!!

I received these on my first stay at this hotel in October 24 so I was very unhappy

The room was up some stairs and not in a ground floor cottage I was in room 87 where as in October 24 when I came for the hustings I was in a cottage on the ground floor

Had a great stay recently at the Last Drop Hotel & Spa. Very nice spa facilities with a range of different steam rooms / saunas. Choice of food / drink also good and not too expensive considering it’s a hotel. The location is also very scenic with plenty of nice views.

Rooms could do with modernising, but clean, pillows are past their best, so took my own next time I stayed. Food is limited and expensive but was good quality. Did not use spa facilities or the bar.

Initially I was in a which was close to the spa facilities and there some sort of loud machine noise coming from ac unit or air source heat pump. I asked to change rooms and I was upgraded for free. Then I had a noisy experience from some drunken hotel guests which was eventually resolved by the hotel.

Clean and tidy room with a really nice sized bathrooms.
Comfortable bed. Attention to detail is a little bit lacking, loose door handle, iron burn mark on the carpet.

Had a great stay overall. I love the fact it's dog friendly but it probably would be a nice touch to have maybe some dog blankets or towels. Food in the restaurant was lovely. Spa was great, not busy if you go in the morning. The only problem we had was that we had a major leak late in the evening from the room upstairs. It was clear this wasn't the first time. the ceiling was soft and it was bulging. They sent the waiter, who wasn't going to fix it clearly but was going to tell the customers upstairs to not shower (which made me giggle). Just a shame.

Obviously the Spa/Pool generates a lot of income for this hotel, but also makes it difficult to find a parking space at peek times. Bar food menu is quickly exhausted if staying for more than a couple of nights and the queue to order food/drink can become quite long, but staff were friendly and room was clean and tidy. Tables used for breakfast service were sticky to the touch which is very unpleasant and you get a feeling that this once very impressive facility is getting a bit long to the tooth in places and in need of some TLC. Happy to stay again if required but wouldn't go out of my way if other options were closer.

The hotel was really nice, very friendly staff. Lovely and clean warm rooms. The only negative feedback I could give, that has a gold member we were given vouchers for a free glass of wine per person. Which was a very nice gesture, however if you going to do a nice gesture, please do it right. We were given two glasses of house red wine, god knows how long ago it had been open, it was awful. I would have rather not been given the voucher for the wine. Most house wines are palatable, but this certainly wasn’t.

It was a lovely place and the only issue was the temperature in the room. It was very warm and the radiators were on despite it being mild outside. This affected my sleep considerably and I would always rather have the radiators off with me then having the choice of putting them on

This was the fourth stay at Last Drop and definitely not as good. Room was smaller, stained carpet, table but no chairs ( always had chairs in previous rooms and pictures of family cottages show chairs with the table) so nowhere comfy to sot with a coffee. Forced to sit on the edge of the bed. Bathroom had mould in the grout, cracked tiles and mould around the taps - not somewhere you want to be after a days work. Had a free hour in the spa and it was very busy but still found it relaxing. Steam room area is lovely. Overall a disappointing stay this time and didn’t live up to past stays or the cost of the stay either. Asked housekeeping to come a bit later as they arrived at 9.15am on Saturday morning but they did bot. So no fresh towels or bed made. No top up of tea and coffee etc. made my concerns known at reception who just said they have so many guests they don’t recognise returning/ loyal guest and do not reward them. She did acknowledge the failings and would pass them on but didn’t offer any compensation to me. Sad as i have always left happy but am unlikely to return going off this trip

The lounges make for a great venue. Nice surroundings and plenty car parking.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel.
The facilities were good and we enjoyed the use of the Spa and pool.
The room was a good size and was clean although the mattress was a little soft for our liking.
We ate dinner in the restaurant and the food was excellent and a good price.
The staff were friendly and in particular Jazmin who was working in the restaurant on Sunday night was excellent, really chatty, friendly and very helpful.
We will certainly stay again when in the area.
