Really nice hotel- lovely staff, lovely clean rooms. Nice menu available from the clock tower bar from 8am-9pm. I would Spacious property in nice grounds. Two story courtyard rooms are lovely. The cooked breakfast was incredibly poor quality and was served for a whopping £18.50.

Lovely, charming hotel; I’d go back. Unusual, charming. Comfortable bedroom. Only one problem- towel radiator in bathroom was really gluggling loudly during the night making it hard to sleep. I did inform reception in the morning.

A lovely relaxing break Breakfast was good and Rhys looked after us well. Have changed room for breakfast and it makes it a bit awkward going to get juices etc and trying to cross where people are booking into restaurant Enjoyed spa and swimming pool is vg.

Reception staff upon arrival were very cheerful and accommodating. The bar staff in clock tower he took my hot drinks order then went talking to customers that were already seated with drinks. I waited 20 minutes then I had to ask where are the 2 hot drinks I ordered he said oh yeah I'll make them now. So 25 minutes wait because he wanted to chat rather than serve. Other than that out time was pleasant.

It worked for our purposes as a base. It was handy for our location. The staff were lovely. The rooms weren’t the cleanest.

Outstanding service from booking to check out. Really responsive. I booked wrong date, they changed without question.

Super fast breakfast service.

Super choices for getting drinks on site including a traditional pub, hotel bar and separate venue bars.

Great stay. Recommended!

The rooms are a bit dated now, and need some small TLC, for example, wobbly chair legs, chipped wood and bath panels.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful surroundings. Fantastic place to stay! Room was beautifully presented and comfortable, plenty of options for food and drinks, the village is lovely and the spa was fantastic! Nothing at all.

Disappointed with the Hotel lack of Help when we reached out about the room being Hot and they did nothing We arrived during the hot weather, our room was ridiculously hot. the rooms have no air conditioning and the windows do not open more than an inch. No fans available as all were being used. Basically you pay the same as others, but don’t get the same service. First come first served. They need to prepare better for the hot weather and allow the windows to open. On check out we seen a Fan in the hallway

Beautiful location, comfy bed, powerful shower Way too hot, no fan provided despite requesting before arrival and being told there would be one in the room, had to call room service twice to arrange one. Cobwebs all over the ceiling.

Rooms are good and the leisure side is good.
But breakfast is awful and the restaurant staff are amongst the surliest i encounter in my 100+ hotel nights every year

Stay overnight with my friend as a spa break. We have spa access, bed, breakfast & evening meal included. For the money..it was worth it ...however...as a Bolton resident, The Last Drop Village used to be the 'posh' place to go. It is now very dated and in desperate need of an upgrade. The rooms are dated, bathroom felt a dangerous..have to ask for a bath mat from reception so you don't slip in the shower!! No air con & limited fans.. which was terrible in this current heatwave. Also very noisy, slamming bedroom doors! However...
The staff were amazing...lovely, friendly & helpful. The spa was nice & treatments were amazing...changing rooms need an upgrade. The meals were lovely.
Just needs some investment to get it back in the running

Relaxing The facilities were lovely, not too packed and well managed. All the staff were helpful and friendly. It’s a bit far from the city centre so if you can’t drive you have to take a cab.

Excellent night away for a special occasion. Excellent room - very spacious and clean. Spa facilities were really great although the changing facilities were a little dated.
The restaurant area was clean and well kept. The Drop Inn was fantastic - great choice of food and drink and no rush to vacate the table.

We actually had a really good time here, The rooms could do with a bit of work but we enjoyed the pub and restaurant, The staff were excellent in both!

The bad bits, Reception staff really are in the wrong job customer service really isn’t for them.
A smile would go a long way, not helpful in the slightest.

And the worst part, the wife left two dresses in the wardrobe, obviously our mistake. I have continuously emailed the hotel to ask them to check and to send back at our expense, not one reply even to say they haven’t found them.

We were on the verge of booking again but the lack of helpfulness and customer service means we will be looking elsewhere. Poor.

We took advanatage of a deal from Planet Offers. We didn't pay much and so our expectations were pretty low. We were more than pleasntly surprised when we arrived. The place is lovely. Our room (37) was very large and extremely comfortable. The main reason for our visit was the thermal circuit within the spa which me and my wife thought was exceptional. There is a also a good swimming pool. If this place was a little closer to my home, I would have joined the gym. We chose to eat at the onsite pub which we both really enjoyed (I can heartly recommend the beef shin, mash and red cabbage) - we sat outside in a quanit cobbled courtyard enjoying the sun, food and drinks and a little gutted to have just missed the live enterainment which runs from 3 - 6 pm on a Sunday afternoon. We will definiely be back - possibly for a one of the comedy nights they run. Finally, and most importantly, I have to call out the staff who were all proper friendly and who go out of the way to help. This includes the hotel receiptionists (chek-in and check-out), the spa receptionists, the waitress in the pub and the breaksfst waiter and waitress. Just to illustrate this with a small example. My wife put her toast through the toaster twice and it end up being too toasted for her to eat. When the waiter came to clear the plates my wfe apologied for wasting the bread. However our waiter immediately put her at ease and then inisted on making her some new toast. Small things make a bid difference. 100% Recommend.

I've had the pleasure of photographing two weddings at Last Drop Village and it's such a lovely venue. The grounds are beautiful, with plenty of space to explore and some gorgeous natural surroundings that make for incredible evening portraits and sunset photos.
The venue itself has lots of character and a relaxed atmosphere, and the staff have always been friendly and helpful throughout the day. It's a great option for couples looking for a countryside feel while still being easily accessible from Manchester and the surrounding areas.
