A former diplomat David’s career involved three residential postings to Thailand. He now enjoys running, which he took up in his late sixties, and regularly takes part in the park run. This year he will be running the Basingstoke half marathon as part of the Phillips Solicitors team in support of the Ark Cancer Charity.
Thian is a devote Buddhist and in her spare time enjoys cooking and gardening. With her guidance and talent David and Thian have created a beautifully balanced and tranquil setting arranged over two floors, creating a unique dining atmosphere in the old London Street building.
The Lime Leaf offers the finest Thai cuisine by serving a harmonious balance of spicy, sour, sweet and salty cuisine. Customers who want to try a variety of traditional recipes that are certain to tantalise their taste buds will find a dazzling array of choices and by trying something different each time they can experience their very own little taste of Thailand.
For Lunch and Dinner there are set menus plus la carte selections. The Lime Leaf Thai Restaurant is children friendly so the whole family is most welcome. With a choice of dining in the tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished restaurant or home dining with a takeaway meal. Diners who wish to dine al fresco can sit out at the front of the restaurant, weather permitting. Larger groups are also welcome.
