Somersault Festival Comes To Castle Hill, North Devon From 17-21 July

Creating summer memories is the main aim of Somersault Festival and adventures are to be had for anybody of any age.  There really is something for everybody!  From leading chefs and their cooking skills, outward bound excursions and world class music headliners on the main stage, can you afford to miss this extravaganza?

The festival spreads across beautiful landscape, and the whole ethos of Somersault is to be kind to the environment and ensure that the site is left as it was found.  Absolutely no glass is allowed on site and there is recycle and rubbish bins, both at the main site and at the camp sites.  Public transport is the easiest and most environmentally friendly way to get to the site and in (hopefully not!) bad weather some roads and the temporary roads on site become quite impassible.

Whether you choose to come for just one day or the full four nights, this will offer every ounce of what a summer holiday was once about.  From photography tutorials to theatre schools, there’s a raft of innovative workshops and adventures coupled up to a weekend of world-class headliners with the legendary Jack Johnson headlining Saturday night and Devon’s very own Ben Howard closing the Sunday show.

Opening times and ticket costs and availability can be found on their website at: http://somersaultfestival.com/.

Some top tips from us......on the personal hygeine front - take loads of wet wipes, mouth wash and a toothbrush. And buy a solar powered battery charger for your mobile phone........ the rest will look after itself, have a safe and happy time!
