EU Funding For Rural Tourism Projects

Applicants must demonstrate how their project will improve the range and quality of the tourism offered in rural areas of Devon and Somerset and create new employment.

The funding comes from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) which is managed by Defra and forms part of the European Structural and Investment Fund (ESIF) Growth Programme.

Grants are available between £35,000 and £140,000 – there are different match-funding requirements depending on the level of income that the project will generate.

Public bodies, public/private partnerships and charities are not eligible to apply.  For more information visit:
