Barnstaple and the surrounding area offer a huge variety of things to do and places to see.  Just a few of the planned events taking place around Barnstaple are to provide family fun and fresh air.  So if you are looking for fun why not........?

Join in The Fantastic Fudge Hunt at Clovelly!  Running from 29th March until 7th April, visit Clovelly and find any one of twenty fudge stones hidden around the village.  Take it to the Fudge Shop at the Visitor Centre and find out just how much fudge you have won!  If you find stone number 20 you have just won yourself 1 whole kilogram of fudge, made up of 8 different flavours.  One stone redeemable per visiting family per day!

Visit Lilico's Tapas Lounge & Bar!  Not only will you delight in the sumptuous food and revel in the delightful atmosphere, but over the Easter weekend they have Live Music every night.   From 9pm a variety of musicians will be helping to ensure that you relax and nurture your soul.  So why not take a break for yourselves, go with a friend, with your partner or on your own?  Call and book a table on 01271 308086.

Want a day out with the kids?  Then visit Arlington Court for their annual Easter trail.  From 29th March until 14th April opening at 10.30am, follow the clues, get the correct answers and finish by making the staff laugh with a joke and you will win your chocolate prize!   A day out in their gardens with plenty to do and see!  An egg-citing adventure!

For the shoppers among you, visit Barnstaple Pannier Market  (open 6 days a week).  Further afield there are Pannier markets at both South Molton (open Thursdays and Saturday's) and Ilfracombe Indoor Market (open Tuesday's, Thursday's and Saturday's).  Visit and purchase from any one of these markets and be assured that you are buying local and helping North Devon traders.

A unique family way to spend the evening is visiting the Croyde Deckchair Cinema at Croyde Village Hall.  It is essential to book your seats as the hall only fits 50-70 people and the film is always family friendly.  Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30 viewing.  Open on Tuesdays and Sundays.  To call for more information phone 07583 204 601.
