Thebestof Barnstaple doesn't only provide businesses with help, but it also promotes LOCAL businesses and places to visit!  This Easter, why not take a day out of your holiday and visit a local attraction, many of whom are providing Easter themed fun!  Egg..cellent!  (Sorry, we couldn't resist!)

Fantastic Easter Fudge Hunt - Clovelly

20 fudge stones are hidden in the village each day.  Find one and take it to the Fudge Shop at the Visitor Centre and discover how much fudge you have won.  If you find Number 20, you will get a whole kilo of fudge, made up of 8 different flavours - what a treat!  One stone redeemable per visiting family per day.  Running from 28th March 2015 until 6th April 2015.

Easter  Fun Trail At Arlington Court  - Arlington

Take part in the Easter trail with a difference!  Follow the clues to find locations of Easter inspired jokes.  Collect all the correct answers, then come up with your own joke to make us laugh and claim your chocolate prize.  Dates include:

  • From Saturday 28th March 2015, 10:30am
    Until Thursday 2nd April 2015, 4:00pm
  • From Tuesday 7th April 2015, 10:30am
    Until Sunday 12th April 2015, 4:00pm

Bluebell Days at Hartland Abbey & Gardens - Hartland, Bideford

Visit the beautiful bluebells at Hartland Abbey on Sunday 19th and 26th April.  Take the family including your beloved pooch and explore the woodland walks carpeted in glorious bluebells.  The walk extends from the Walled Gardens to the sea.  Along the way enjoy the bluebells, primroses, violets, wild anemones, wild orchids, foxgloves and much more.   Work up an appetite and treat yourself to lunch in the Tea Rooms from the delicious, home-made menu! 

The Tiger Who Came To Tea - The Queen's Theatre, Barnstaple

A stage adaptation of the classic tale of teatime mayhem...,expect to be surprised!  Bring your entire family to this superb matinee performance of The Tiger Who Came To Tea.  Watch your children's face light up when the much loved Tiger comes to life on stage.  Tickets are available from the Box Office on 01271 342424.  Showings are on Wednesday April 1st and Thursday 2nd April 2015.

Exmoor Pony Centre Easter Open Day - Dulverton

Experience a fun day with the Exmoor Ponies.  On Sunday 5th April the Exmoor Pony Centre are holding a fun day for everyone to enjoy.  See the ponies and stay for the:

  • Kids activities
  • Pony rides
  • Refreshments 
  • Easter egg Hunt
