The object of the Two Moors Cycling Sportif is to ride either 100 miles (160 km) or 100 km (62 miles).   The advance entry fee is £29 per person and includes medals.  A sportive is not a race but a timed ride.  You may use the time to gauge your improvement year on year.  There will be a £6 surcharge on those that enter on the day to cover any extra costs.

The courses are fully signed and riders are supported with feed stations, a sweeper van and mechanic.  Should problems arise you can simply phone control using the number given at the start.  If there is no mobile phone signal then you simply wait and the sweeper van will pick you up.

People ride these courses on mountain bikes, hybrids, touring bikes and road race bikes.  You do not need a special bike it just needs to be in good repair and serviced before you start.

Sponsorship is optional.   Any sponsorship money is divided equally between a registered charity of your choice and charities and causes supported by The Rotary.

Come along and support riders along the route or have a go yourself!
