Oxford homeless charities Aspire Oxford and Oxford Homeless Pathways have launched an appeal for donations to support homeless people in Oxford this Christmas. Hundreds of local people in Oxfordshire will wake up without a home on Christmas Day. It’s vital that Aspire and Oxford Homeless Pathways can support homeless people into safe housing and secure employment so that they can leave homelessness behind.
“Not Just Homeless” is a powerful film that challenges our preconceptions about homelessness in Oxfordshire. The project follows the journeys of local people affected by homelessness and gives them the chance to tell their stories from their point of view, breaking down stigmas and challenging stereotypes about what it means to be homeless in the process.
After nine months of hard work the Museum of Oxford Friends (MoOF) launch on Friday June 12th in the Old Museum was a resounding success. Here are some more details of their aims and needs - let them know if you'd like to help in any way.
