Our Mission

MoOFs supports the development of the Museum of Oxford as a vibrant centre, sharing historical and cultural interests and ensuring local people are involved.

Aims

To promote the understanding and appreciation of the Museum of Oxford, recognising that it is the only Museum to tell the heritage story of Oxford City.
To encourage the involvement of MoOFs, Volunteers and other individuals to use their skills and expertise to enhance and promote the Museum within the local community and beyond.
To assist in raising funds for special projects, such as purchasing artefacts for display in the Museum.
To support the Museum of Oxford Services in their ‘outreach’ activities in the local community.
To develop partnerships with local communities and organisations to engage their support in helping with the development of the Museum.
