Overall, a very pleasant break away from home with a comfortable room and friendly staff in general.

The disabled parking around the front wasn’t ideal as it was rather squashed without wide spaces both sides of the parking bays - only one bay had both sides wide. The disabled parking around the back was okay.

A minor problem with the room was the door - it didn’t fully close on its own, so we had to push or pull it closed to ensure it was secure. It could have been overlooked at first but we got into the habit of pushing or pulling it shut every time we went in or out.

The staff in general were very friendly and were ready to offer help immediately whenever necessary. They were generally very efficient as well, and one older member of staff, Irene, went out of her way to help us, especially my disabled partner who was in a wheelchair, and ensured that all her needs were met.

I would like to have given 5-stars due to the friendliness of the staff and service, but the tight disabled parking around the front which wasn’t appropriate for us and the door to the room sticking slightly as it closed couldn’t be overlooked. However, we hope to visit again sometime in the near future.
