We actually had a really good time here, The rooms could do with a bit of work but we enjoyed the pub and restaurant, The staff were excellent in both!

The bad bits, Reception staff really are in the wrong job customer service really isn’t for them.
A smile would go a long way, not helpful in the slightest.

And the worst part, the wife left two dresses in the wardrobe, obviously our mistake. I have continuously emailed the hotel to ask them to check and to send back at our expense, not one reply even to say they haven’t found them.

We were on the verge of booking again but the lack of helpfulness and customer service means we will be looking elsewhere. Poor.

I've had the pleasure of photographing two weddings at Last Drop Village and it's such a lovely venue. The grounds are beautiful, with plenty of space to explore and some gorgeous natural surroundings that make for incredible evening portraits and sunset photos.
The venue itself has lots of character and a relaxed atmosphere, and the staff have always been friendly and helpful throughout the day. It's a great option for couples looking for a countryside feel while still being easily accessible from Manchester and the surrounding areas.

Here for an awards night, food was very poor. No filling in my tart and rock hard pastry and the chicken was inedible, unless you have a pint of water to wash it down and a steak knife to cut through it. Tough as old boots. The veg was devoid of nutritional value but the potato was ok. Deserts were fortunately ok too, but not as described on the menu! I appreciate they're trying to feed 100's of people, but do something you can make in bulk and keep edible, not chicken and veg under heat lamps for an hour. Very disappointed, especially as the company running the awards charged almost £50 a ticket.

The room was large and very comfortable, as was the bed. The en suite shower was very good. The layout and location of the hotel are excellent. The village area is a lovely place to wander and sit and enjoy either coffee or a drink. Breakfast on the first morning of our stay was not as good as that on the second morning. The food had obviously been lying out being kept hot for some time.
We should have asked for a ground floor room as the stairs up to our bedroom were very steep

A great place to go but not if you have food intolerances. I struggled with the menu as I have an intolerance of onions and chillies.
The spa is wonderful as is the swimming pool. Treatments good but expensive. Look for the online special offers.
No easy accessible downstairs rooms.

A lovely location. Room had everything we needed for a short stay. Several options for eating and our evening meal, at the Drop Inn, was tasty and plentiful.

Some customer service was perfunctory but on the whole, for the price and the location, it was good value.

We had a lovely stay overall, however customer service wise could be better breakfast wise. We were left waiting 25 minutes for our order to be taken for breakfast. The hotel was relaxing and spa facilities were great.

Will be going back again. The spa facility is amazing we’ve been back 3 times for the spa alone, the open to the outside for the heated pool really helps.
Several different steam rooms, sauna, pool ect is great I also appreciate the separate changing rooms.
The bar is super cute and chill.
The food, we paid £100 for a meal we didn’t touch the steak was stone cold and cost £40 ish
Breakfast is meh, one breakfast I couldn’t eat due to the smell of wet dog but that was when the restaurant was being re vamped and we had to have breakfast in a different place.
Everytime we go now we don’t get breakfast included as the coffee place does great toasties so I’d go there if you want something to eat.

We love staying here on a regular basis but on this particular occasion our room had a very creaky floor and desk/dressing table chair. The sink was blocked (but fixed promptly) and our room was directly above the reception entrance which proved to be susceptible to all the noise from some of the patrons sitting outside.

Good value, great location. Friendly helpful staff. Spa was included in the room hire which added a lot of value. The fabric of the place is a bit tired in places but it was clean and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful
We didn't go for breakfast as not included. £18 per person on the day sounded like a lot.
