Stayed here for 2 nights at the weekend, which was our 2nd stay. The room was very clean and comfortable, slept very well in the big bed with lovely clean crisp sheets!
The room had everything needed, kettle, hairdryer, iron and even a fan which was appreciated.
The shower is powerful although the bathroom is dated, it was clean.
The staff are always friendly and the lovely Irene is very thoughtful and a pleasure to chat too.

Rooms have all you need, however our shower was leaking from the pipe so the pressure was shocking. The cold water tap trickled ...but overall the price paid was good. Just ensure you bopk5 breakfast the day before as its only £9, on the day is £17.95!! And it's definitely not worth that

Stayed here for the pool at the stadium great location, Room was very clean staff very helpful and friendly especially Irene lovely lady and very helpful who was working in the bar area, would stay again.

Very friendly and welcoming one night stay. I arrived and discovered the hotel in difficult circumstances- I had to visit Chorley and South Ribble Hospital during the night. In the morning I had a lovely Breakfast. As I was in pain I unable to sit in the Breakfast area to eat it. The member of Staff on duty at Breakfast time went out of her way to help me carry my Breakfast to my room. After that I spent some time in the Bar area where I was served by a lovely friendly lady working on the Bar. Another member of staff helped me prepare for check out by collecting things I had left in my room- again in my opinion she also went out of her way to help me. I travel in the North of England quite frequently. I am recovering from an episode of Severe Depression- travelling to different places with friends and alone helps me stay Depression free. Thankyou Mercure Georgian House Bolton for everything during my short stay. The Hotel is a credit to the Accor brand 🙂

Room was clean and tidy. Bed was very comfy. Food was very good, tasty and plenty of choices available. Staff were very professional and helpful, especially Ryan who made my dining experience very pleasant. Would stay at this place again

Everyone very welcoming and the room was beautiful and spacious. Ryan in the bar was especially helpful . We had had a very tiring day and we had a good meal in the bar and he really pampered us . We are staying here as part of our Lands End to John O Groats cycle route . It’s a brilliant place for cycle tourists

Some of the most polite friendly staff youll ever come across. There’s a few things being worked on but it’s business as usual and taking that into consideration these are working with what they’ve got . Honest , friendly and respectful. They really will go out their way for you as an individual. Excellent service

Lovely hotel with the kindest and most helpful staff I have ever come across in all my hotel stays over the years. Irene looked after us and was such a lovely lady, nothing was too much for her. Will definitely stay here again. Brilliant staff, thank you for your hospitality.

Such a lovely welcome at reception to us and our 2 schnauzers. We stopped in the bar to share a few light bites and a drink and were served by the lovely Irene who couldn’t have been any more, polite, friendly, professional and attentive. Would highly recommend stopping in the bar. The food was lovely and Irene made us feel very welcome. 5 stars!
