Walsall Council is supporting the Great British Spring Clean with a packed programme of community litter picks taking place across the borough this March.
A community litter pick in Pleck has resulted in the removal of 80 bags of litter from local streets, following a joint effort by residents, community groups and Walsall Council.
Walsall’s volunteer litter pickers were welcomed to the Mayor’s Parlour on Thursday January 15 for a special thank you event recognising their outstanding contribution to keeping the borough clean.

Ten volunteers from HomeServe UK joined forces with Walsall Council to carry out improvement works at Reedswood Park, as part of the council’s ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.
