The arboretum is a really lovely place for all ages alike, young, old, families & couples. We visit regular all the year round it's lovely for bike rides, walks, the park and the water park - my children 5 & 8 years old always have a great time the water area on hot days is fantastic keeps them occupied for hours, the make plenty of friends and burn off some serious energy! There's an ice cream truck and burger van which is a little expensive but great if you don't take your own picnic with you! The council have spent some serious money on doing this park and its grounds up and it is evident wherever you go throughout the park - it's starting to resemble the same look as londons beautiful Hyde park - definitely worth a visit!

Just back from visiting this lovely place where I used to visit regularly with my sister's kids and now im taking my own. We had such fun running around the park lots to see and do and at the moment there is a small fair with trampolines, zorbs and bouncy castles which are very reasonable. There is a brand new cafe and also a land train for an extra treat. A big shout out to the great staff on the fair who were brilliant with my boy on the trampolines. Thank you.

Walsall arboretum is a beautiful place to take the family. The park is, as my six year old says "awesome!!". A miniature train takes you on a magical little journey to a play wonderland. There's plenty there to keep a family entertained, splash land, zip wire, peddlos and plenty more, all afternoon. I would highly recommend this place for all families with children or anyone who wants a pleasant walk through lovely surroundings.

This is a lovely Park for a walk, bike ride, picnic, and to feed the ducks and geese. We usually go when it's sunny as there's loads of trees for shade, and there's an ice cream van available. It's perfect and easy to forget you're in walsall.

the arboretum is a lovely looking park in the middle of walsall, which is not so lovely, over the school holidays they have had extra activities for the kids which look great
must say the park looks a lot better of late

It now has a lovely cafe and excellent toilets, which just about finishes the massive development that has been made over the last few years. This really is a top venue for all ages, especially during these summer months. Hopefully it will continue to be supported by Walsall B C.

Got to say I only live a minute walk away from this fantastic park, as a child is was a great place to visit, it holds so many good memories for me and my sister....as I am now in my 50's it still has the same affect, the lottery grant as done a grand job for the park, and I can honestly say the park is a kids and adults paradise.

Visited here 2 week ago (Sun 9th of Aug) The walk through the park grounds is beautiful and the tranquil and stillness of the water features is a little paradise. Then to actually stumble into the water park and slides and swings with the fair and so much for all ages it truly is a hidden gem 10/10

My husband and I have watched with interest the improvements to the Arboretum over the last 12 months and thoroughly enjoy our walk through this vastly improved park. We particularly like the new cafe, there is not a great deal of variety in the food, but we think it is adequate, the toilets are spotless and the staff very pleasant.
We are told there are a number of rangers patrolling, but we don't seem to have seen any. We would hate to see any part of this tranquil space vandalised, please keep it well patrolled and hopefully all the improvements made will stay put.

Kids loved the water fountains. This place is huge - we didn't see much of it despite being there for an hour.

Great oasis to relax in. Lovely food, reasonably priced in the cafe. Three of us had a two course lunch with drinks and a side for £19! Lovely park, water park is fabulous for younger kids. Full playpark, Dotto land train between sections snd plenty of parking. Accessible for wheelchairs and prams. Bring spare table tennis bats and balls as outdoor tables are available to use too for free.

Small charge for water zorbing, bungee jumping in harness and funfair rides - tokens only. £5 for 12 which covers both zorbing and bungee jumping.

Loved it!!!!

You can easily spend a great couple of hours just walking through the Arboretum. Beautiful scenery and a lovely quiet walk, even though not far from a busy main road.

Looking for som where to go while we wee driving in Walsall we came across this place so decided we would pay it a quick visit to see. About 3 hours later we left! It is full of all sorts of different park areas from open grass land to tiered landscaping. There is a lake there with assorted birds nesting on which you can hire pedalo's to go around. We chose the giant swan.

My husband and I took 2 of our grandchildren aged 6 and 7 to the arboretum, our first visit for at least 15 years since our own children were young. It was always worth a visit then but we were pleasantly surprised with the improvements. A lovely play ground with a splash area and a nice new cafe. We only had a drink so can't comment on the food. The swan pedalos were very expensive, 2 adults and 2 children cost £12:00 for 15 minutes so not an experience we would repeat. The gardens were lovely, all in all well worth a visit.

Great day out for kids, couples and family's. It is lovely on a hot summers day with ice cream vans and splash areas and good climbing park areas. Beautiful for having a walk in however I still think it would be better if the arboretum lights was bought back.

Excellent morning in the playground area. 3 hours of fun. Lots to do but the water park area was a winner. Fountains of different heights. Our granddaughter (6) spent 3/4 of an hour splashing around. There is an area for toddlers. No one over 12 is allowed on the equipment. There was a first aid post. The burger bar was reasonably priced as were drinks hot or cold. Plenty of seating with tables. The toilet facilities are excellent and kept exceptionally clean through the day.
Certainly worth visiting but be prepared for it bring busy.

Lovely sunny day and we decided to walk the dogs where there is lots of space
The sun was shining and as we continued to walk we came across a gospel band singing on a stage in the park.
We grabbed an ice cream and continued to wonder through the park.
Great park for families , couples young or old.
Perfect local free place to visit
