We have been visiting this restaurent for quite sometime now and since few months they have increased the price drastically which has now reflected in less clientele as seen during Friday's and Saturdays. Previously it was very difficult to even get a seat during Friday's and Saturdays but now it is empty. The food is of good quality but not worth the price though. BBQ food has also increased which is ridiculously high. Many similar restaurents are there in and around with same or better quality food now and unless the owners take notice of this and change the price this restaurent will soon close down inspire of serving good food.

I've been going there for years, I first went with friends from work and now I take my whole family there. We don't eat curry anywhere else, I live 20 minutes drive away and I drive there for takeaways. It's a family friendly place where you can enjoy a great meal and a pint aswell. It has its traditional pub area and a be area at the back. We eat there at least once a month. If I had the money I would buy the place.

This truly is an unassuming pub from the outside! You would never believe the food that comes out from the kitchen! It's always piping hot, tastes fantastic and costs very little.. What more could you want from a curry house mascaraing as a pub! It's a nice atmosphere with a locals vibe.. In a lunch time it can be three deep at the bar but your curry still only takes 15 min to come out, they are prepared and very equipped to deal with big parties who only have an hour for lunch.. You can also take your time and have a few beers if you want. I go when ever the opportunity presents its self.. They cater for vegetarians too, kids meals or British classics for Indian non eating people with in the party too.

The food is very good but there are now a number of similar pubs with the same quality of food locally where the customer service is far better.There seems to be a " can't be bothered attitude" by some staff.This was never the case in the past and I believe it is going to reflect in the number of people using the Vine.
I hope this is taken as useful feedback and not just a moan.

The food in the restaurant was of good quality however I didn't like how you had to order off a board by the till. I also felt that it was too busy and noisy for me to return again.

Simple Indian food Cooked well at decent prices.
The Vine is located in a corner of west Bromwich from outside looks abit rough but inside it is ok, there are plenty of tables and chairs.
Tried a few different dishes and must say the flavour's are well done. A great place for some nice traditional Indian food.

Went with a friend from work for a quick lunch and chat. The staff were friendly and the choice of food on offer excellent. Not overblown with the layout as it feels a bit like a café. All in all though a very good way to spend an hour.

Was really looking forward to this place as it was recommended. The first appeal was that it doesn't serve halal meat, as most asian eateries are halal only, so we are limited to fish dishes. To start with the entrance to the place is a bit off putting as it looks like someones home! But this didn't deter us as we're interested in the food. We went for lunch and ordered two mixed platters and a lamb jalfrezi. Now the worry thing was that the food came out really fast, i mean in 5 mins or less. Now this would be ok if the bbq was on but for lunch that section of the place was closed. So this made us concerned that the food was part pre-cooked and not fresh. Thats exactly what it was, you could tell the meat on the starters was cooked/reheated as the meat was really tuff on the outside dry on the inside. The lamb curry again was poor as it tasted like a western curry from a non authentic place. The chips also were bad! good points staff were OK, the nans where great as they were fresh, the sheek kababs nice. overall great let down on massive scale.....save your money and go some where else. poor poor food.

I love curry and have been to a fair few Indian restaurants in my time, but this place has to be top of my list! The BBQ offers something different to any other curry house I know and the curries are always delicious. My favourites are the Tikka Massala - which has a bit of extra kick and is simply the tastiest I've tried anywhere - and the Biryani. And you can't beat it for value - huge portions without the huge prices. Being a curry pub - it always has a buzzing atmosphere too which is quite unique. Overall, much better than your average Indian restaurant!

The set meals are fantastic as well and the value of the place is literally unbelievable I had to ask the bar lady if she had forgot to put on the beer!

Very busy restaurant/pub - we were looking for somewhere within easy access to the motorway without having to pay motorway services prices. It was definitely inexpensive and the food was OK (we had korma, rogan josh and tikka massala) but the environment was horrible. Very busy, very noisy, not somewhere to eat and relax - but ok just to make sure that the kids had food as a reasonable price. Not likely to go again though - will find somewhere else next time or just get sandwiches from the service station.

We arrived after a gruelling journey and read about The Vine on tripadvisor and thought we would give it a try just as we needed to eat and it was within walking distance. On entering it looks like a corner street old pub but to our amazement it is like the tardis from a small pub at the front to a massive eating establishment which seems to go on forever. The staff were very polite and extremely helpful and accommodating . The menu was varied catering from curry lovers to more conservative tastes. The barbecue skewers were excellent and the curries to die for. The service was quick and friendly.
We would definitely visit again when we are next in the area.

This place is full of astmoshpere and flavour ranging from BBQ every night to full 3 courses . The menu is vast and the portions are generous. The owners and staff are friendly and inviting and it is a place for all the family.
The food never disappoints and has been consistant and can say that the food is catching to the eye and will set your taste buds racing.We also have a wheel chair user in our party and the staff are always happy to accommodate

I came in this weekend with my family for an afternoon lunch and I must say I was actually amazed, the pub just goes on and on. The food was cooked beautiful and left our taste buds wanting to try more! The young girl behind the bar was so polite and helpful and interacted with our children which for a busy pub is excellent service. I was told about this place by numerous friends and family and shall definitely be returning again , I got told the pub is usually rammed and was a bit nervous bringing young children in but for a Saturday afternoon it was perfect for us. Only downside is the menus on the boards, it would be nice to sit at the table and look through one

Fantastic little find tucked away in West Brom, well worth a visit to sample the amazing food on offer.
Looks tiny from the frontage but the restaurant can seat a lot towards the rear of the building. Great choice of food & heat levels, fresh tandoori starters cooked to order at the rear. We keep returning again & again.

We visited this place as it was recommended to us by friends. We finally got round to trying this place out and boy what a lil gem to be found, from the outside it only looks small but once you step into the place you find out how big the place is.
The food is cooked beautifully and the chef at the grill is a wonderful man really helpful and has a pleasant personality.The staff are lovely and work really hard.

A great pub with wide choices at very reasonable prices. Take care on the entrance steps which are a bit uneven but wiorth getting to the top.

My son recently celebrated his 16th BIrthday and by his choice he wanted to go to the vine, therefore we went with our five year old daughter.First impression of exterior did not put us off, on entering we were greeted by the team and told us what we need to do regards ordering etc.After deciding on a safe choice of ChickenTikka all round, our little girl had a jacket potatoe children's menu I couldn't see however they do English dishes which is great for non adventurous little ones.Our chicken Tikka was lovely and very generous with portions.The naan and the extras we ordered were all lovely too, you certainly can taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients.The surroundings were also tastefully done and not too fussy, the toilets were immaculate also.A great new find for our family thank you we will be back and try something different

Popped in for a pint whilst on a business trip. To be honest given the expansive menu selection i did not expect much. I thought it would just be standard pub grub. However, after ordering the food arrived in super quick time and the price was more than reasonable.
Great tasting food and well presented. A few Indians eating Indian meals in this pub has got to be a great sign. Worth a visit

The best place to go for either chicken biryani with lentil soup or a grill. Big screen TV to watch any big games, a beer garden, friendly atmosphere. However would not go there if I fancy a curry. The layout of the place is very cosy and we come here very often. Can be a struggle to park on a busy day.
