A pub that serves really good curry or is it a curry house with a pub attached.? Either way it is always full which speaks for the quality and value for money.

Super experience - be mindful that it's packed out when the Baggies are at home (no restriction on away fans).
All year round BBQ for a quick tasty VFM snack on the go!Or browse the focussed menu and choose any one of the specialities.
If you go weekday lunch then you will get a table easy enough and service is always quite quick (or slow if you want it slow!)The fact that there is always an almost full house (with about 80 covers in the main bar area plus another 80+ covers out back by the BBQ so just knowing that they need to cater for over 150 covers tells you that they do a special job.....not just special 'cos they do it with a smile and an incredible efficiency - TOP DRAWER.
Of course this is a Curry House for people with a drink problem so don't expect Rajdoots.Sometimes can be difficult to get a parking spot. but persevere it's worth it.
Poky place outside - go in and see the Tardis!Staff helpful and Happy to help.

A trip to watch a match West Bromwich Albion should really be preceded with a few drinks and some good food.
You get it all here and it's far better than later being tempted by the burger vans - you'll regret one of those before half time!

There genuinely aren't many reasons to visit West Bromwich, but The Vine is definitely worth the perilous journey. Nestled between a residential estate and industrial units, the facade of a proper black country pub conceals one of the best eateries in a twenty-mile radius.
If you were to give me a choice between the distinctly high-end Asha's in Birmingham and the solidly low-end Vine, I'd choose the latter every time.On our most recent visit, I had the Chicken Pathia with egg-fried rice and garlic naan. Pathia often disappoints in other restaurants, but here it's perfectly balanced sweet n sour. The naan was hot and crispy and the addition of spring onions to the egg-fried rice really made the dish.
I'll be honest and say that I don't really like eating in the main restaurant area (which was packed out on a wednesday night), but I do enjoy eating in one of the pub's many 'snugs'. I was slightly disappointed that there were no spare ribs on the bbq, but that was a minor gripe on this occasion. Some may opine that a certain other treasured establishment near Sandwell Hospital has fresher ingredients, but the Vine is cosier and friendlier with a more varied menu.

Came here on a recommendation as I was passing and it didn't disappoint. The place is like the Tardis - diesn't look like much on the outside but after the entrance, it really opens out. The drinks were good and well priced . The curry was very good value and very quick. I would recommend the chicken peshwari with egg fried rice, but there's something for everyones taste. The service was very quick. Curry was brilliant for the price.

I Love the vine, visited the vine Wednesday and was greeted by Chardonnay at the bar with a huge smile and a happy rapport, the food on the bbq was great and the complementary mint brown sauce was lush.Followed by a chicken jalpfrezi curry and a naan bread which over hung the whole plate lovely!!!!!

We called in yesterday as we were going to see WBA play Arsenal. We arrived early, parked up and called in for a drink. The Vine was exactly as described on the web site. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. We sat down and before long speaking to an Arsenal fan. Food was being served and looked very tempting to eat, but we decide to call in after the match to eat. Choice is very varied, curries, or food from the grill. Service was very quick, tables cleared away very quickly. Even with the fans in the atmosphere was very friendly. I will call in again on a non match day.

Another work colleague get together for our curry "night out". First impression may be, " Oh my God" but find a seat, grab a drink then search the wall board menu for your favorite dish.
5 of us met up last night, ordered 5 curry`s and two naan breads and cleared our plates. The bill? £43. Beat that.

As you approach this pub you have second thoughts from the outside but the like saying goes “don’t judge a book by its cover”.
One of five pubs we have recently visited in this area since my daughters moved nearby and this one is definitely the best. The Chicken Manchurian, goat curry and the bullet naans were excellent together with the panner, chicken wings and sheesh kebabs. The service was good from the bar, grill and the kitchen, well disciplined, highly recommend the Vine, will be returning soon.

I would like to thank Bharat and his staff for a wonderful evening. We went to The Vine for the first time for my son’s 30th birthday, the food was ‘heaven’ and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We will be back.

Went here on a Thursday dinner and it was packed.. You order food at te bar and asked where your sitting, I would say I had only been sat down 3/4 mins and my food was in front of me.Fresh made tasty and plenty. I had the daily special which was less than £5 and couldn't be more impressed, no wonder it was busy.
Looks deceive from the outside doesn't prepare you for what is waiting inside. A must for lovers of good Indian food

Had a nice day out at their beer festival 13 ales in good condition and great Indian Street food. So we returned for Sunday lunch with my brother-in-law law and his wife. The starters and bbq were so good and filling we didn't manage a curry, the stir fried potatoes balls were excellent and the real ale as usual was perfect.

We went for a birthday, from the front it doesn't look all that but it's a hidden gem. Iv heard a lot about The Vine so we thought we would give it a try. Very good food, if you want a restaurant than this isn't for you but if you want good food it's definitely worth going. The BBQ section is a good shout for a starter. Quick derived friendly staff.

I went with a friend on her recommendation and I must say I've never eaten Indian food in a pub before, what a novelty! We ordered the food at the bar and sat down in a beautiful glass roofed restaurant the staff were really friendly and the food was exceptionally great. I would definitely recommend The Vine for a truly authentic Indian meal. I can't wait to go back there again. Highly recommend.

Went after a west brom game and the staff were excellent even though it was packed. the food was served very fast and it is top quality. The choice between curry and Barbeque is a tough. But, one many would like to have!

I visit the Vine on a regular basis as I work nearby. The food is always good, very good value for money and is brought to you in record time. A bonus when you are your lunch hour ! They have a very wide range of Indian food available but also serve English food and snacks if Indian food is not your thing. I would thoroughly recommend for a quick lunch time bite.

Real ale meets stellar curry in a one-of-a-kind establishment, which has evidently carved out a very popular niche for itself, thank you very much. Anyone staying at the nearby Park Inn hotel would do themselves a great favour by skipping an overpriced, uninspiring meal in the hotel restaurant and taking a ten minute walk to this most unlikeliest of venues. The friendly, welcoming staff, welcoming atmosphere and delicious food, at very reasonable prices, are a winning combination. The goat curry, served on the bone, is not something you will find in your average curry house but is well worth a shout. The naans are the best I have ever had, including some very expensive Indian restaurants in London.

Hadn't been here for some time. A bit up market from 20+ years ago. The starters sheekh kebab & chicken tikka were excellent. Also had a chicken curry which was the best I have had for ages.

Have visited here a few lunch times and always walked out full and pleased with the experience.
The Lunchtime Mixed platter is always a good pick, but I would recommend a sauce with it as I can be dry being mainly meat, good though and always served quickly and piping hot.
