The wife and I called in for lunch which we used to do fairly often till it closed down this was the first time since. Very disappointed it was ok but nothing special l did tell the waitress as l left that the chips were under cooked, l probably will try it again because it is local .

We were very impressed with our meal .Adele the waitress was very efficient and helpful and the food was absolutely amazing .I had lamb shank ,two had curries ,two had pies and we were all very happy and have booked to return .

We’ve been several times since the new owners have taken over , and all I can say is that we’ve had a very warm welcome , the surroundings are fabulous , the food is amazing , and all the staff are great . Love it .. x

Had a very nice meal here one weekday evening. Standard pub fare in the menu (if you exclude the excellent choice on the Indian menu), but nice enough.
Portions were fine and the meal was cooked well. Enjoyed it, nothing special, but would recommend and certainly go again.

Since it has been taken over we though we would give it a try. My wife had steak which was cooked as requested, I had chicken and cheese plus salad which was very tasty. The only problem is the meals are so big, very good value for money.
