Had a very nice meal here one weekday evening. Standard pub fare in the menu (if you exclude the excellent choice on the Indian menu), but nice enough.
Portions were fine and the meal was cooked well. Enjoyed it, nothing special, but would recommend and certainly go again.

Since it has been taken over we though we would give it a try. My wife had steak which was cooked as requested, I had chicken and cheese plus salad which was very tasty. The only problem is the meals are so big, very good value for money.

Nice beer and a nice beer garden. Lovely place to sit out on a summer's evening.

Very sorry to say that the food was no better than average for the money. The chips were greasy and the plates weren't well presented, but the curry was good. Desert was okay but a bit dry. Service was slow as the restaurant was very busy - took a long time to get a food order in.

Outside of the food, however, I would add that this pub remains one of my favourite places in Bloxwich to go for a drink - great atmosphere, lovely beer garden, great community feel. Would go again for a drink.

Haven't been to ths Pub/Retaurant for a couple of years. So wasn't sure what to expect. Amazing!!! So clean, smiley attentive staff. The food is excellent and very large portions. Well done Team Ivy.We will definitely be back...

Excellent food under new ownership along with varied menu. Admirable staff in the face of adversity - bang up against it with a bursting pub. Employees “bravo” Employer “you won’t win the Tour de France on a Rayleigh Banana”

Visited this evening to try the re opening. After two failed attempts of management from the old ivy house glad to say it’s back on par to when Hillary and Martin ran the establishment. Congratulations to all concerned food and drink a credit to you.

Great to see this local pub on the up under new management. We have visited twice now since the relaunch and love the relaxed atmosphere, lovely garden, very friendly staff and the excellent menu choice including both pub classics and a range of Indian food. The future certainly looks good for the locals and the new owner 😁

Taken over at the end of June. Absolutely superb value for money and excellent food. Please ignore the reviews coming from a rival pub. Social media leaves traces but some people are just thick.

I've been reading some recent negative reviews of The Ivy House, since the new owner took over a couple of weeks ago i have found the manager, the assistant manager and the rest of the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The food has been really good quality
And the service excellent. It seems to me that perhaps rival pubs are showing a bit of jealously

Omg. We decided to pop in for a lunch time meal, so glad we did new owners have took over and there were 2 menues to choose from. From starters to desserts. You have the usual fish and chips to steaks but so much more, something for everyone. My husband tryed the starter of black pudding with a poached egg and really enjoyed it, i had the pate which was really tasty. For mains we had the cottage pie and the cheese and potato pie both were tasty and filling. The service as always was spot on even though it was quite busy, the staff very friendly and do it with a smile on their faces. Will be back again to work our way though the menus.
