Booked Sunday lunch today for myself and daughter as the hubby and son in law at the Wolves match. We both went for the turkey option. The meal was well presented and hot. Most enjoyable, staff polite and service was quite quick considering it was a busy lunchtime. Deserts followed, Apple pie and cream for me, yummy and daughter had chocolate fudge cake also with cream, which she said was fab. We will definitely go again.

Visited this evening for a few drinks and it's a lovely little pub, nice and cozy. Shall visit again to try the restaurant.

Could not fault any part of the service and meal. Our party consisted of 13 and each course was served with no one having to wait. Serving staff were really attentive and the food was delicious, the sea bass in particular was amazing. Would not hesitate to recommend and will definitely be visiting in the near future.

A quaint and traditional pub with a perfectly balanced menu and all the better for it. The food was well prepared and timely and the service excellent.
Portion size was great too. Eleven of us and all had only good things to say!!

First time visiting this pub as I don't live in the area a friend took me for lunch friendly staff we ordered the home made steak pie but the pastry topping was neither short crust or puff it was like eating a cracker. Wont be advising anyone to try this although the chips were good.

Saturday Lunch time we were shown to a table to the rear of the pub over looking the fields and the beer garden very pleasant out look it makes you forget your on a mail road. The service was good and the girls behind the bar and in the restaurant were really friendly.
We ordered the food and after about 20 mins the food arrived it was obviously cooked to order as it was piping hot. The plate looked lovely and the salad was fresh. The restaurant is basic the food is really good i think with some tlc this could be a really lovely place to continue to come back to.Would return and would recommend for a pub lunch.

Came here Saturday evening with my husband and daughter for a meal. I’ve visited a couple of times before and only had great experiences so thought I’d leave a review. Had prawns and halloumi for starter- both beautifully presented and delicious- then gammon with eggs, the ivy house burger and sausage and mash for mains. Absolutely delicious! All cooked beautifully, can tell it’s all homemade and fresh. The only problem was, we were way too full when we left with the massive portions! Really feels like a family run, friendly and homely place. Can’t rate it enough!

Visited The Ivy House for an early Father’s Day meal as an extended family.Recently taken over by new owners and this was our first visit since their take over.7 of us ate two courses and certainly were not left hungry. The food is generous and well presented with a good range of choice from the daily menu and specials. We had several bottles of wine which were very reasonably priced.Look forward to our next visit.

Always enjoy the Ivy House. Prices have gone up Slightly since I was last there, however the food and service is always good. Nice beer garden to use with nice views on a sunny day. Noticed the Walsall football memorabilia has been taken out of the gents which is a shame as added character. Would recommend this pub if you're in the area.

have been there on an evening , and also on a lunch time . Whilst i was happy with the food , on both occasions i was let down by the poor quality of the cask ales. On my latest visit , my partner and myself both had the burger chips and salad. That was fine. We are both real ale drinkers . Our first pints tasted ok , but were very cloudy, but it was drinkable . When i went back to the bar to buy the second round i was told that the keg was empty, so i sampled the remaining two cask bitters . One tasted awful , the other tasted slightly less awful. Keeping a good pint of cask takes a lot of TLC . If you can't give it that kind of care , you should stick to selling Nitro-keg . I spent £13 for four pints of ale that lunchtime ,i left feeling somewhat bitter. Excuse the pun . The only other thing i was unhappy about was that we were sat outside in the garden . We were half way through our meals when we noticed a dog turd on the grass by our table . I am a dog lover , and i think it is good to allow dogs in pubs and in pub gardens . But perhaps a bit more diligence on behalf of the staff on this subject.
