Nice beer and a nice beer garden. Lovely place to sit out on a summer's evening.

Very sorry to say that the food was no better than average for the money. The chips were greasy and the plates weren't well presented, but the curry was good. Desert was okay but a bit dry. Service was slow as the restaurant was very busy - took a long time to get a food order in.

Outside of the food, however, I would add that this pub remains one of my favourite places in Bloxwich to go for a drink - great atmosphere, lovely beer garden, great community feel. Would go again for a drink.

Excellent food under new ownership along with varied menu. Admirable staff in the face of adversity - bang up against it with a bursting pub. Employees “bravo” Employer “you won’t win the Tour de France on a Rayleigh Banana”

Taken over at the end of June. Absolutely superb value for money and excellent food. Please ignore the reviews coming from a rival pub. Social media leaves traces but some people are just thick.

On the recommendation of my daughter who lives locally I arranged to meet my cousin for Lunch. As I arrived early and the Restaurant being empty with diners I requested a Latte to be told only filtered coffee was available so as it was cold in the Restaurant I opted for a filtered one. My cousin arrived and we ordered our main course he had an Hawaiian pizza and I had Scampi and chips. The Scampi was fine a tasteful but I understand the Pizza was swamped in cheese and not enjoyable to eat. We both choose for sweet lemon cheesecake and lemon meringue pie which was fine. Before the sweets and coffee arrived we moved into the bar which was much more comfortable and warmer. Total bill coming to £41.00. I have to say all very disappointing as we had both been looking forward to lunch. Would I eat at the Ivy house again probably not.

This was the first time I’ve visited this establishment. It left me and my family very impressed with the service and food served. On arrival we were pleasantly greeted by a staff member who was pleasant and smartly dressed. She led us to a table.Soon after a drink order was taken and when the drinks were served the food order was taken. After 15/20 minutes the food was excellently presented. The taste ,flavour was superb. The food was hot and fresh.the service was pleasant and excellent. The decor looked fresh and the entire establishment was spotless .As a family we already booked for our Christmas lunch to which we are looking forward especially after today ‘s experience. The menu’s selection is quite varied with the usual Sunday roasts included. The prices are reasonable and of an excellent value.I strongly recommend this establishment and suggest that if you’re passing through Great Wyrley heading towards Walsall or passing the opposite way please pop in and enjoy an excellent dining experience .May I thank the staff for their pleasant and excellent service and warm welcome.

First time we came here to meet friends who are previous fans of this public house.
We were served by a really bubbly lady who make nice conversation and made you feel welcome. We waited for our table to be ready which took around 10 minutes. The place was extremely busy. We were seated to our table. The menu was very extensive offering English and Indian food . Shortly our food order was taken. Food arrived I had the Piri Piri chicken with chips salad coleslaw. The chicken piece was very big and looked delicious. The staff are young however they did a very fantastic job of trying to serve everybody. They were rushed of their feet however still
Managed a smile. Great place great food
Will go again and will be telling everybody about this little treasure.
