This place was booked for a wake for my after a funeral. We received a warm welcome and it was evident that they were adhering to social distancing. We were shown to our tables. Nd we opted fir a sit down meal. Menu was extensive and an excellent choice Food was served hot and well presented and tasty. Staff were warm and welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. Definitely recommend pity I don’t live close

Back at the Ivy House. First time since our Wedding Reception there in March. Meal was great as normal. Cheesy Nachos were superb. Great at to be eating out again.

Can definitely recommend this place for evening meals we went with relatives who had been told it's a good place to eat & they wasn't wrong I decided to try the curry menu and wasn't disappointed I had the Aloo Tikka Chana Chaat for starter very nice then I had the Ghustabba again a great choice of main course my wife & relatives had a choice of evening meals from the main menu & even though my relatives are vegetarian they said the food was well worth the money & would like to go again

We cannot thank Tina and the staff at the Ivy House enough for the efforts they put into into making our wedding reception wonderful. An ideal restaurant for a small , about 30 people, wedding reception. Great food and great staff.

Visited the ivy house for the 2nd time today served by a very pleasant lady called Michelle who was a credit to the establishment her customer skills were 1st class..My friend and I opted for the 2 course special lunchtime meal it came promptly was hot and very tasty excellent value with a lovely dessert that followed for £7.99 it was brilliant.. Will definitely return..

Food excellent , the chips are home made and so nice. I would however say that the communication between the staff a little off putting. The younger members were good but didn’t like how some of the older staff spoke to them.

The chips were soggy and oily my wife could not say her portion I did say mine. The mushrooms and my rib eye steak (cooked medium rare) were excellent as were all of the staff especially the young ones they have been well traineded. The gammon however was very very salty. The meal was slightly over priced. I tried to book a table on line 33 hours before our required time, I waited 2 hours for confirmation but had to phone them they said they had not received the booking request. If you want people to book on line make sure the system works. We will not be returning.

Myself and my fiance have been here a lot now. It is a lovely place with polite friendly staff. I recommend the Ivy House!
Other halfs steak came raw but they corrected this and he enjoyed it.
The veggie curry was ok, the cheesecake was lovely but the caramel one was not nice!

Enjoyed a lovely meal at the Ivy House today. I would recommend the Lunchtime Menu.. it was great value for money. I had Pate to start with, followed by fish & chips. The chips were absolutely beautiful!!! Finally I had a brownie with icecream which was super scrummy. Portions were generous and I believe if you were to visit the Ivy House, you would not be disappointed!!!
