We’ve been to The Ivy House near Bloxwich quite a few times now, and honestly… the Indian food never disappoints. Absolutely amazing every single time — full of flavour and cooked to perfection.
The portions are very generous. Come hungry, leave stuffed, possibly needing to be rolled out the door 😆. We even went for their Christmas meal, and yes… still managed to eat far too much because it was just that good.
The staff are brilliant — friendly, welcoming, and always on point. Nothing is too much trouble, and they really add to the whole experience.
Great food, great atmosphere, great people… and a guaranteed food coma. We’ll definitely be back again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We have visited the New Ivy House previously and always had an excellent experience, however I felt we were short changed on Christmas Eve which was disappointing.
We'd arranged months prior and sent out our orders, yet despite this it felt a little disorganised. Starters didn't come out altogether and so when it came to our mains, for some it seemed rushed and for others it seemed ages.
I understand it was Christmas Eve, undoubtedly the busiest time of year but it was disappointing as it felt like there was no time to enjoy the atmosphere or the purpose of our family meal, time together. It felt like the aim was to turn over the tables as quick as possible.
The food was great and staff were friendly but it just wasn't the experience We'd have hoped for,more a quick dinner than a meal. Alot of food was wasted because there wasn't time to digest the starters.

Food was quite nice, seafood tortellini and garlic bread was delicious expected maybe mussels and a few king prawns. Wait was around an hour which was tight aside had to be somewhere. Waiting staff were very polite and efficient. Lots of things I want to try on the menu so will go back when not a holiday season. Thank you everyone for a lovely couple of hours and Merry Christmas 😊

Food was nice, service was good, one lady and one young man do really well keeping up with the orders. Cleanliness is a little bit lacking, menus are grubby with food and stains, also the walls could benefit from a wipe over as they are a bit dirty.

A regular haunt for us. They staff are always welcoming and are particularly lovely to my aging parents. Service is always good. As is the food. We use the place for weekday lunches and don't need to book in advance. Great place.
An update: whilst I understand the need to be business savvy, Im also a little annoyed at the need to "move" my booking due to a wake booking 24 hours before Im due to be there. This has happened several times now, being moved from the restaurant to the bar area, despite booking well in advance. Small party bookings are just as important as mass bookings folks. You may just lose your regulars if you dont show them some loyalty. (Hence my star down grade).

3rd time here , twice tried the steaks from the English menu and once the Indian menu. Food amazing,staff really nice and the pub is an hidden gem

Always a great meal in The Ivy House, great choice for Sunday Lunch and when they say large meal they mean a large hearty meal with fresh produce and loads of meat, nothing is too much trouble for all of the team, everyone is friendly and can't do enough to make your experience fun, thanks everyone!

Second visit here and really enjoy the atmosphere our food was great we had a large mixed grill and there was plenty of meat range and well worth the money £18.95 .

This is the best place for food,been several times and food perfect everytime, today had cottage pie best ever,had lamb shank last time meat so very tender,we always upgrade to home cooked chips,totally amazing food,highly recommended 😋

I had Steak medium, With option of home cut chips and a extra egg . The steak was very tender. The price was good. Definitely recommend the Ivy House. I will go back

Food we had was unimaginative basic fodder with the tiniest, tiniest pot of coleslaw I have ever seen.

Just had sunday lunch takeaway, vegs great but I had beef , could have chewed my shoe easier, turkey ok, but no seasoning at all and gravy bland had to put a oxo in it and salt and pepper, so won't be going back, spoilt our Sunday lunch.

Went for the first time a few weeks ago and have since been back. It’s a lovely atmosphere with a nice beer garden. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. We plan to make this our regular place to eat and enjoy a good night out.

Attended with friends, was seated in the middle of two other tables initially which was odd and we felt like we were on top of each other but then pub did get busier about half hour in.
So much choice, but then when food came out it was piping hot, so tasty, and big portions.
