Cosy little place with an old'e world feel about it. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and only too happy to help. I have coeliac disease, so have to eat gluten free food, there's several options on the menu for me to choose from, I opted for the belly pork which was delicious. Prices are reasonable, possibly not the cheapest around, but then the quality of the food on offer is good, and the portion sizes seem generous. Free parking with ample spaces, and a great view out over the fields which can be enjoyed from the beer garden. All in all a great place to go for a meal out, will definitely be returning.

JUNE 2024 update. Went for a lovely meal with husband, easy to walk to from Bloxwich, plenty of parking spaces though if you're in a car, and a lovely beer garden with views over the fields. Great place to have lunch or dinner. Nice menu to choose from with a good selection of vegetarian options, I had scampi and homemade chips with garden peas and salad, scampi was delicious, peas a little hard but ok. Husband had the beef, cheese and bacon burger with homemade chips and salad. TV screen in restaurant section showing football for anyone interested. It was pretty quiet and easy to get a table just walking in. Staff lovely. A nice pub to visit. Definitely recommend.<br><br>November 2022. A group of 15 us had lunch today, sent our food choices previously, all good, came out hot, well cooked and together, can't fault it. Nice staff. Lovely local pub.<br><br>November 2023 update, another big group lunch today, orders sent in before day. After waiting for a latecomer for a good while all meals came out quickly and hot, waitress was friendly and there was no rush for us to eat quickly even though we'd started later than planned. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food, I personally would have had my liver cooked for less time and some pieces were rather hard, but it was tasty with lovely onion gravy and mash. My apple pie and cream was delicious. Unfortunately, the brownie ordered by a friend was very hard, maybe, as the waitress explained because they were gluten free or because it had cooled while waiting for extra custard, or just overcooked, I'm not sure. Overall, a nice lunch out in good company.

Me and my friends enjoyed a bottomless brunch yesterday. Can't rate it enough, the food was delicious and we had to take lots home.<br>Cocktails were amazing, not watered down like on other "bottomless brunches". Great value for money, will definitely be back

They organised a beautiful hot and cold buffet for my Father's wake. Tina was wonderful, she made organising everything so easy.<br>The setting is stunning with beautiful views over the fields.<br>Excellent food quality, fantastic service from girls in the bar and restaurant, they really helped to bring some joy to a very sad day.<br>We can't recommend this place enough.<br>Thank you ❤️

Went for lunch after work had the giant Yorkshire with sausages and mash and peas and gravy,it was amazing not tight on the portion size at all and was really tasty,washed down with a pint.Service was great and I didn't have to wait long at all for my meal.Great work guys keep it up 👍

This was quite a quaint little place for a meal as we were staying in Walsall. Very cosy food was good, nice friendly service. Not expensive.

Food was good, had completely run out of the on tap cocktails, and in view of pre booked special occasion this was poor.<br>Also the staff had no personality at all, and really felt they didn't want to be there, which was a shame as this could have been a 5 star otherwise<br>There were 13 of us, and spent well, but may not revisit due to miserable staff.

We ate early and the dining room was very quiet, We were welcomed and shown to our reserved table by a friendly polite waitress , our food , chosen from the English menu was served quickly and we both commented that it was delicious, (new jersey chicken with homemade fries,) all together a very pleasant dining experience .
