Full service and MOT. Diligent company: checked car fully and modified service recommendations on requirements not the standard mileage service list, picking up on items that should have been done as standard while under a dealership care. February 2026, I reached out to Fitch Autos in Brownhills about having the timing chain done on my 2016 Jaguar XE 2-liter diesel Ingenium engine, which had done 67,000 miles, and spoke with Eleanor, who provided a clear, itemized quote with a breakdown of parts.
Although I decided to hold off while I considered switching to a bigger car, I eventually changed to a 2017 diesel Jaguar F-Pace with the Ingenium engine for the extra space. When I reached out for another quote, I luckily spoke to Eleanor and she, again, was very helpful.
I brought the F Pace into Fitch Autos on Tuesday, July 7th, for the timing chain. Neil, a family member, was incredibly knowledgeable and answered all the questions I fired at him. The nice gentleman who took over from Eleanor at reception assured me everything would be put back correctly, and they were true to their word—my car was returned in fantastic condition with all fittings secure. He even showed me photos of the timing chain, whivh I had asked for.
He explained that, considering the mileage of 106,000 miles it was the genuine chain, and I had changed it just at the right time, as he had seen worse.
They also noted the brake fluid, fuel filter, and wheel alignment needed attention as there was no record of it being done, but I felt absolutely no pressure to do the work right away. They advised me they had updated the Jaguar system, stamped my service book, and discussed a loyalty scheme for future discounts. To say thank you, I presented them with lots of cakes and a handshake to say I was very grateful.
The team was highly professional, keeping me updated throughout. Now, the car runs beautifully and is so quiet, and I highly recommend them for their quality work, attention to detail, and excellent service!"

I’m not one for writing reviews however the service I experienced today I felt like I needed to show my appreciation.
Booked an MOT for my Tesla Model 3 in advance a few weeks ago on their easy to use website and all was confirmed for today. I was reminded of my appointment the day prior via text which I thought was a good touch.
On arrival today I was met by the front of house team who were very welcoming and offered me refreshments.
The car was taken at the time booked and returned within the hour for me to collect off the car park.
As it was 34 degrees I decided to stay in the waiting room which was air coned and was lovely I must add!
Over the course of an hour I could overhear how the front of house team answered calls, queries and questions of the customers in a very professional manner. These two individuals are a real credit to Fitch Autos! Finally I’d like to give my thanks to the technicians who treated my car with respect and had to work in this heat.
Overall 10/10 experience and moving forward I will be using Fitch for all my motoring needs!

Fitch have come to my rescue AGAIN. My drivers window failed to close on Thursday 9th and I needed to use the car at the weekend. Fitch ordered in the parts required and made the repair by 15.30 on Friday 10th.

I took my Range Rover Sport to Finch Autos with an intermittent suspension fault.

Excellent service for my Land Rover. I took my vehicle to Flitch Autos for a service today and was very impressed. The prices were reasonable, and I valued the detailed inspection report they offered. The whole team was outstanding—Josh, Claire, and the other lady whose name I didn't catch—were all professional, knowledgeable, and clearly experts in their field. We had a new timing chain on our discovery sport. Done in a very timely manner and communication was excellent. Sent advisories, with no pressure from them to get this work done. They replaced the chain but I had annother issue with the coolant tank. They took it straight in, as it was under warranty for the chain. It was done and dusted in 24 hrs. Staff are so polite and professional. I would highly recommended this garage.
