Calderfields has a fantastic Junior Academy, very friendly group who make all newcomers feel very welcome & they hold lots of friendly copmetitions throughout the year.
The Acadamy's committee also host social activities for the whole family to enjoy.

Calderfields Golf Club is a really lovely club with a very warm and welcoming reception. Often Golf Clubs can be known for being exclusive and not welcoming to new people but Calderfields completely dispels this myth.
We visit the club regularly, my husband to play golf and our family to attend social events or to eat. The Sunday Lunch is a particular favourite with the carvery which is always prepared and presented so nicely, the meat is always beautiful and tender and the veg and trimmings fresh and hot. The Waitress service is smashing and it is like home from home. Events at Calderfields are always great with the resident DJ's creating a great party atmosphere and playing to their audience. The best event I have ever attended was the wedding of my sister. It was planned to perfection and truly magical.
Anyone who has never been to Calderfields should make the effort to pay a visit!!

I have been to Calderfields a number of times for various reasons, most recently for a funeral of a close family friend. I cannot say enough about the whole experience. The staff are wonderful, friendly, attentive and polite. The food has always been fantastic and the setting is beautiful. I have friends holding their wedding there later this year and they too cannot speak highly enough of the professional way the arrangements for their special day have been handled. There are not many places you can visit these days without there been a few niggles or moans, but I can honestly say Calderfields is the exception to the rule. I would quite happily recommend it to anyone, whatever they are looking for. Keep up the good work!!
