I have just returned home to Dukinfield in Cheshire from a remarkable three day golf break at Calderfields Golf and Country Club. From the moment you arrive there you feel that the etos by all staff is for you to enjoy your stay with them. The club house is very relaxing serving good food, beer and wine. The accommodation if very comfortable with really good views onto the golf course The golf course a par 73,and 6400yds is excellent and a fair challange for all golfers. I have travelled on many golf breaks over the past forty years at home and abroad and I can honestly say this has been as good as it gets. Well done to Calderfields.

Myself and 15 colleagues from my local golf club have just returned from a three day fantastic golf break at Calderfields Golf & Country Club. The course is a testing but enjoyable par 73 parkland course, which has many interesting holes. Accommodation was provided in well-appointed timber cabins overlooking the 9th and 18th greens. Meals were served in the Lakeside Restaurant and the food was delicious All staff were courteous and very friendly and the service received from them was exceptional. A special thanks to the members of Caulderfields senior section, for mustering a sixteen man team to play a team match against our contingent on our second day (unfortunately we lost). We would definitely return to sample such great hospitality again and we have no hesitation in highly recommend Calderfields Golf and Country Club to everyone!

The staff were as professional as they were friendly and helpul. General Manager Richard Devine has bonded a super team. The well maintained course enjoys the attentions of a team led by a scratch golfer and presents a varied and enjoyable challenge. We enjoyed the view from our cabin, overlooking the 18th fairway and the fact that it was only a short walk from the restaurant and bar at the end of the evening. I have been on many golf trips, but this venue takes some beating. Ducky

We had a table for 8 diners and had the carvery set menu.
The service was excellent, the food very good and surrounding were very clean and comfortable.
The one thing that I especially enjoyed was the fact that there was no hassle - you were able to enjoy your meal and after meal drinks at your own pace, with no one asking you to move on!
Will definately visit again.

Good food, good pleasant staff. Chefs are excellent. Dine on a regular basis in good surroundings. See a lot of the same people every week.
