Excellent work carried out on my parents’ bungalow to replace a boiler and install a shower. Professional, honest and reliable. Even when little problems popped up, Stephen always ensured I was aware of what was going on, and suggested best ways dealing with them. He clearly knows what he is doing, and that instils confidence in us.
Furthermore, whilst the COVID pandemic hit right in the middle of the work he was carrying out, he made sure sure to contact me and arrange a time to come around at my convenience to finish the work once lock down restrictions were eased.
I will definitely use his services again, and couldn’t recommend him highly enough.

Quite possibly the perfect experience of dealing with a tradesman. No nonsense, polite, respectful, careful and methodical. Stephen instilled great confidence that he knew exactly what he was doing and would act with honesty and integrity.
After posting my boiler repair job on Mybuilder.com, Stephen expressed interest quickly and that set the tone.
He turned up on time for a no-obligation inspection of my boiler. I had a good idea what the problem was and Stephen quickly and confidently diagnosed the issue, which tallied with my own expectations. He then promptly followed up with his quote as promised.
Stephen's was not the cheapest quote, but his approach and manner meant I was happy to give him the work. This proved to be a good decision. Once appointed, Stephen quickly sourced the necessary part and agreed a time with me to attend and carry out the job. Once again he turned up exactly when agreed and set about the job without fuss or drama. Within an hour the job was complete.
In these Coronavirus times and with a medically vulnerable wife, I was cautious about inviting anyone to our house. Stephen at all times wore a mask and gloves and stayed socially distant whilst carrying out his work. He was also careful and respectful of our house and property.
So I repeat - quite possibly the perfect experience. I will certainly be back in touch with Stephen if I need help again in future.

Steve and his colleague arrived on time, as agreed. They went straight to work on my boiler change. Never stopped for a break!!

We used 1st Time Fix for installing a new boiler. Out of 5 quotes they weren’t the cheapest but the choice was easy to go with them. I will only use them with any plumbing and heating jobs going forward for reasons you’ll see below.
Out of the 5 quotes, 1st Time Fix was the most reliable with communication and they came up with the best solution of boiler choice but also we were moving the boiler from part of the house to another and they came up with the best solution to pipe work routing quickly.
The new heating system has been in for a month now and we’re thrilled with it. The advice from Stephen at 1st Time Fix before, during and after the work has been so valuable. The works were carried out with care and with good planning.
Extra works completed by 1st Time Fix were identifying and fixing a leak, installing a new radiator and thermostats to existing radiators. All were done with aplomb - good time management, good and friendly communication and to a high standard.

Steve and his team have just finished totally renewing our entire heating system. He advised us regarding boiler and radiators (types and positioning) and made the whole process hassle free.

Stephen from 1st fix completed second job for us on Friday after we discovered a leak from the overflow pipe from our boiler which was causing significant damage to exterior brickwork. Within less than a week he came to assess the job and did a temporary repair before booking us in a couple of days later to complete the job. On both occasions he has been out to us we have been happy with his work. His responses are fast & he is always happy to give advice no matter what time of day we have contacted him ..a plumbing company you can rely on!

Had a complete new boiler fitted by Stephen. Old back boiler system exchanged for a new combi boiler. Was very accommodating ahead of time (sorting days etc).. really prompt (only a week from first visit to fitting .. and could have been quicker, but worked around my availability ).. really good price considering level of work involved .. and did a quality job. Very clean and tidy, incredibly professional and would throughly recommend.
