I am a long-time customer of SMS, having bought a desktop and two laptops from them over the last 2 years. More recently I had my desk top upgraded at a very reasonable cost and the work was carried out in a timely manner ensuring I didn’t lose it for longer than necessary.

I am 75 and have an old Macbook Air that was running slowly and giving me notices saying that I needed to update software or that something was no longer possible. Worried that it would all suddenely crash on me, I took it into SMS. Very friendly. Suggested I drop it in for a check up. £100 later, I had updated software, reduced storage, better knowledge of my back up and external storage arrangements. I now feel confident that I should get another 5 years from my laptop. Thank you Will Smith (supported by Daniel, Meghan and Diogo).

Our son was a little heavy handed with our PlayStation 5 controller and the left stick stopped working. I could not find a replacement online for less than £55 pounds, so I took it over to SMS. They were super friendly and had it repaired within the hour for £35 pounds, which was brilliant. They also sell lots of equipment which would be great for a gamer for Christmas.
If you have any tech that needs attention, take it here. I have seen people bring in their computers, their phones and their Nintendo Switch and everyone leaves happy. A really helpful local business and one we are lucky to have in Chard.
