SMS helped me deal with a sticky situation when I found my old iPad had a swollen lithium battery which forced the screen and casing to separate. They also took away all my old tech and disposed of it safely for me. While all this was going on, I wandered around the shop and found their new/reconditioned iPads for sale - and bought one at an exceptionally good price. As an older customer and not totally tech-savvy, I can sometimes feel out of my depth, but the guys and gals at SMS were friendly and helpful. They are now my 'Go To' place for tech support.

Geat service. I dropped my iphone off on riday when it stopped working. I was told that it would be ready oon Wednesday. But I had a call of Monday to say that it was ready and only needed a new battery.

I was experiencing a problem with Excel and Word on my computer. I had an online chat with Microsoft but was not 100% happy with their responses to my questions. I contacted SMS and spoke to Megan who advised me of what options SMS could offer. As a result I booked my computer in. Updated Microsoft Excel and Word were downloaded onto it. Megan took my computer in and handed it back on completion of the work. She answered my queries clearly and concisely. The work only took about an hour. I have bought tablet computers, mobile phones and accessories from SMS. In addition they built a desktop computer to my specification. I will use SMS again and have recommended them to my friends.

Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish!
We originally purchased our laptop from this company quite some time ago, and being a busy garage, it's fair to say the laptop has had a lot of use and hasn't exactly had the easiest life!
We were fully aware that it was well outside of any warranty period, but the team couldn't have been more helpful. They went above and beyond to get everything sorted for us and managed to have the laptop back in our hands in less than 24 hours!
It's so refreshing to deal with a company that genuinely cares about its customers, even long after the original purchase.
Brilliant communication, incredibly quick turnaround and outstanding customer service. We honestly couldn't have asked for more.

Always so helpful, Polite, take the time to properly listen to your concerns of your equipment, they don't fob you off they are direct with what they can & cannot do to help you.
I have never had a bad experience with them that's why I always go back to them.
But the best bit for me is they never undermined you on what technology you know or don't know just very helpful. Keep up the good work we would be lost without you in our town.

This small business built my PC to my specifications several years ago (a challenging task given the spec' I wanted) and have looked after me (the PC) ever since. Reality of life is that all PCs need maintenance. They've had it back twice over 6/7 years and have done necessary work on time both times always keeping me informed. I won't go anywhere else and will not buy an off the shelf machine from a big store or online computer giant. My main PC is well specified even though new off the shelf machines have now caught up. It's fairly future proofed but when it needs any updating, I'll be back to SMS. Staff are very friendly and always helpful. Although I have no comparison data, I've always been very happy with prices I have been charged. I rarely give reviews but this is one small business I want to see prosper.

We don't know where we'd be without the great team at SMS, Chard. Whether it's your PC or mobile - to purchase, get fixed or be trained on - they're an incredible one-stop shop.
