I am a long-time customer of SMS, having bought a desktop and two laptops from them over the last 2 years. More recently I had my desk top upgraded at a very reasonable cost and the work was carried out in a timely manner ensuring I didn’t lose it for longer than necessary.

We thought my wife's laptop had picked up malware so we took it down to Will first thing in the morning. Had a call to say job done mid afternoon, laptop all cleaned up and thoroughly checked. Brilliant service at a very reasonable cost.

I am 75 and have an old Macbook Air that was running slowly and giving me notices saying that I needed to update software or that something was no longer possible. Worried that it would all suddenely crash on me, I took it into SMS. Very friendly. Suggested I drop it in for a check up. £100 later, I had updated software, reduced storage, better knowledge of my back up and external storage arrangements. I now feel confident that I should get another 5 years from my laptop. Thank you Will Smith (supported by Daniel, Meghan and Diogo).

Our son was a little heavy handed with our PlayStation 5 controller and the left stick stopped working. I could not find a replacement online for less than £55 pounds, so I took it over to SMS. They were super friendly and had it repaired within the hour for £35 pounds, which was brilliant. They also sell lots of equipment which would be great for a gamer for Christmas.
If you have any tech that needs attention, take it here. I have seen people bring in their computers, their phones and their Nintendo Switch and everyone leaves happy. A really helpful local business and one we are lucky to have in Chard.

Today, they helped me install a back protector for my iPhone that I bought online but couldn’t fit it myself. The customer service they provided was amazing, and although I didn’t purchase the product from them, they were still willing to help me. This alone made me want to go back there more whenever I need any repair or help. Great work, guys.

From speaking to the lass at the front desk,very helpful,told her of my problems and left items with her.
Spoke to Jay then Will,who told me of cost to update my computer,gave him the ok.
Will rang when updated,back home i had probs setting it up,rang Will and he called in and got me going.

Went into quite a few shops to try and purchase a male / female UHD cable approximately 2 metres in length, no chance, then I remembered SMS, worth a try. No, nothing in stock but straight away they said they could get me one in, they kept me up todate with everything and very quickly another call to say its in. For what they charged it wasnt really worth their trouble but they went out of their way to sort out my problem , so for that im extremely grateful, will definitely be trying them first in future .

Wonderful service, had a range of issues with my refurbished PC. The team had it back several times, eventually replaced the RAM and did several other things, all free of charge even though it was out of warranty.
They are always very helpful and nice, and I would thoroughly recommend them.
