A really lovely place to visit, great food nicely presented, stunning gardens and views, and helpful staff. A great day out and worth repeat visits. Would be even better if more accessible by public transport!

Lovely gardens for walking in, peaceful and relaxing. Just a shame the cafe wasn't open as quite busy. Enjoyed our visit.

Family party for Nan's birthday, including vegetarians, vegans, meat eaters and dairy free went for afternoon tea on Saturday. Lovely and helpful young woman served us and the food choices were varied and delicious for everyone. Nan had a great time. Thankyou to all the staff and chefs.

Decided to visit here at short notice and didn't research it beforehand. Glad that we didn't because we were completely taken aback by how much there was so see and how beautiful it was. The lady on the welcome desk was really friendly and knowledgeable and took the time to go through the site map with us. The walk around required moderate effort, and I personally wouldn't recommend the whole trail for someone with mobility issues as the path is gravel and mud in most places and there are a lot of inclines. The gift shop was beautifully curated with locally made items. I personally didn't find anything I wanted to purchase at the time but highly recommend popping in to have a look. The ladies working at the gift shop were really lovely too. Finally we went into the art gallery, which again was really interesting and beautiful with plenty to see. The final thing which again was unexpected was a little plant cafe where you could purchase some locally grown plants at the end of the walk.

These are lovely gardens, very peaceful. We did use a wheelchair and yes it was certainly hard work but my mum (92) loved it so it was worthwhile. Lovely places to sit too and nice cafe

A lovely well laid out garden. This place is only let down by it's Café. Very slow service, waited in line for ten minutes and then gave up.
