Visited the Christmas Fayre here on Sunday. Lovely stalls very talented people on Somerset. Had tea and cake in the courtyard whilst listening to Christmas music being played by a trio of musicians, watching the fire burning in a beautiful shaped fire ball having.

Went to the Christmas market - lovely. Also a big second hand bookstall open in the house. Lovely food, although only takeaway from the cafe in the outside seating and for table service from the restaurant you have to sit inside. Warm fire in the outside eating area and live music for the Christmas market.

Beautiful garden that is open all year. A good variety of different landscapes and planting ideas. Plenty of garden history and information, but would like to see better labeling of plants. Dogs actively welcomed with a treat at the gate. Plenty of parking available. Great cafe with lovely cakes.

A very beautiful garden suitable for all ages. The formal gardens are very inspiring and the landscape gardens have many hidden areas to explore. There is a restaurant, cafe, shop and plant shop, plus a play area for young children.

Fantastyczny ogród. Bardzo zadbany, czysty, ścieżki bardzo porządnie zrobione. Cena £11.25 za wejście adekwatna do tego co można zobaczyć. Tea room/ restaurant naprawdę super i cream tea warta spróbowania. Super miejsce dla dzieci nawet małych. 10/10. Naoewno wrócę. Kolory jesieni cudowne.

Lovely place, food very expensive - not really suitable for the elderly disabled as lots of walks, uneven paths. Lovely place though. Xx

Great afternoon outing with a mixture of activities and points of interest in the gardens/ house. This charity is doing important work and i must say next time i am im the area i would visit again! Just make sure if youre going to do the full garden walk it might be worth bringing alternative shoes for little ones.

Really beautiful place to walk around. Lots of different routes to take and there are some wonderful folly’s to sit in with great views of the rest of the gardens.
Lots of really interesting plants and flowers too.
Top tip. Get a season pass. It’s definitely worth a revisit.

Enjoyed exploring very much, nice hike through the Somerset hills. Some interesting history. Alas the house has seen better days and the art installation whilst of interest was lacking, excellent used bookstore with lots of titles. The gardens are the main attraction need attention, lockdown has not served them well and they need TLC and volunteer support. Hoping for another visit come spring and would expect a higher level of garden maintenance
