Mohammed, who joined CPiO las year, recently completed the 12-week Sage Intacct Academy programme at Sage’s HQ in Newcastle, walking away with outstanding results across the entire programme, scoring 98 per cent in the practical assessment.

Sage Intacct Academy is a training and certification programme run by Sage for consultants who will be implementing and advising clients on Sage Intacct, Sage's cloud financial management platform.

The programme is designed to develop both technical expertise in the software itself and business consulting skills needed to help organisations successfully implement and use the system.

He was also recognised throughout the Academy for his enthusiasm, professionalism and willingness to support fellow delegates.

The achievement marks the latest milestone in a career that began more than 14 years ago, when Mohammed first taught himself Sage 50 while working for a transport company in Malawi.

After qualifying as an AATQB bookkeeper, he built his career around Sage software before joining CPiO.

Mohammed said: "When I first started using Sage 50, I never imagined I'd one day be walking into Sage Headquarters.

“The night before the Academy started, my suitcase was already in the car because I was so excited. It honestly felt like a dream come true."

He said: “The Academy showed me that being a great consultant is about more than knowing the software.

"It's about connecting with people, understanding their challenges and helping transform the way they work."

Mohammed's performance impressed the Academy team, with Glen Towers, senior partner growth manager at Sage and Academy Programme Tutor, describing him as one of the most enthusiastic participants to complete the programme.

He said: "From the very beginning, it was clear how much this opportunity meant to Mohammed.

“He understands that great consulting is about more than implementation alone – it's about combining technical expertise with business consulting skills to help customers succeed. I'm excited to see what comes next for him."
