Local locksmith company, Pick Me Locksmith Ltd., covering Sutton Coldfield and the Midlands, has become one of the few MLA (Master Locksmiths Association) approved companies in the area, the highest qualification in the industry.
The company offers a 24/7, friendly, yet affordable service and has more than doubled in size since Mark Santi, Director, set the company up in March 2015. It has expanded its services to offer the UK’s leading CCTV and Alarm Systems, since Steve Brown, already an experienced locksmith who covers the Sutton Coldfield area joined the company in February 2018. Mark comments: “I believe there is value in speaking directly to a qualified professional.”
Mark and Steve are both ex military forces and are building a team of vetted specialists who follow the MLA code of conduct, to meet increased demand from both domestic and commercial customers.
Company signed, contrasting silver and black vehicles can be spotted in Sutton Coldfield and the surrounding areas, as seen on the company’s new website, which went live in February.
Tom Campbell, of Ground Solutions UK, a property management company based in Swadlincote, comments: “Mark is by far the most reliable, trustworthy and technically competent locksmith we work with and I wish all our other tradesmen could offer the same level of service and professionalism. The ex military forces pedigree is immediately obvious. Personable, fair, trustworthy and informative; no job is too small or too difficult.”
Peter Vose, ex Regional Network Manager, part of Centrica Group comments: “I would rate Mark Santi 10 out of 10. The company does what is says it will do.”
The MLA is recognized as the authoritative body for locksmiths by Police Forces, the British Standards Institute, Insurers and Neighbourhood Watch. Mark Santi comments “I am thrilled to have successfully completed the vetting, MLA inspection and MBLI, (Member of the British Locksmith Institute) exam, to become an MLA approved company.” Only approved companies can use the logo, together with a company licence number.
The MLA is a not for profit organization established to promote the level of skills and ethics within the industry, in the absence of government licensing of locksmiths. It includes regular inspections to ensure quality.
