The partnership replaces previous wellness offerings with Spectrum.Life's clinically-led Employee Assistance Programme.

Employees will now have immediate access to 24/7/365 confidential support through a freephone helpline, live chat, WhatsApp and SMS support, as well as structured clinical counselling delivered by accredited clinicians and matched to the right level of care.

The service also includes specialist pathways for employees living with more complex mental health difficulties, offering a depth of clinical care that standard EAP services rarely reach.

An upgraded employee journey provides one seamless entry point to support, alongside access to virtual primary care through GPs and advanced nurse practitioners for fast, convenient clinical consultations without waiting for a face-to-face appointment.

In addition, a dedicated digital health platform offers proactive wellbeing support, including on-demand exercise, meditation and health education, available whenever and wherever people need it.

Stuart Hayhurst (pictured), group CEO of BHSF, said: “At BHSF, we believe better access to healthcare and wellbeing support should be simple, timely and impactful.

“Our partnership with Spectrum.Life strengthens the support available to our clients and their employees by combining digital accessibility with clinically led care pathways.

“As pressures on both individuals and the wider healthcare system continue to grow, employers are increasingly looking for practical wellbeing support that employees can access quickly and confidently.

“This partnership represents another important step in the continued evolution of our wellbeing proposition.”

Spectrum.Life CEO Stephen Costello said: “Spectrum.Life shares BHSF's genuine commitment to people's health, and this partnership puts that commitment to work.

“When someone reaches out for support, what comes next defines everything. Whether that's preventative services, a GP, a counsellor or a specialist: whatever they need is there for them now, through one connected front door."
