We had a great time watching the new mission impossible film. You can take a beer in the seating area, and the seats are like you have in your home with plenty of leg room, plus a soft foot rest. The staff are great.

Friendly staff and reasonable priced ticket entry. Sofas were not as comfy compared to other cinemas but the screen and audios matched the size of the audience.

I’ve visited the Royal Cinema to see quite a few films since it opened last year and have had a great experience every time. Every single member of staff that I have spoken to have been friendly and approachable. The staff really do help create the amazing cinema experience that the customers receive. The venue is very well looked after and the screens/ chairs and sofas are great quality. I look forward to visiting again soon. 🎥 🍿 💫

Before the recent refurbishment, the last film I saw here was Terminator 2 in 1991...The new owners have done a fantastic job. The period features look amazing. The Royal is a jewel in Sutton's crown again. Use it or lose it!
I don't tend to go to the cinema a lot lately due to chavs kicking the back of your seat etc, but none of this happened last night. The seating in screen two was also comfy and luxurious.
If I'm being picky, my wife's popcorn was cold last night as well as when she went the time before, even though she was told it would be warm. Sort the snacks out and it will be 5 stars 👍.

Really impressed. Sound of picture quality of screen was awesome and the whole 1930s vibe is great. Chairs are really high quality and comfy!! Will def be regulars here now

Great to have a cinema back in Sutton. Lovey staff, cinema is very comfortable, not £3.50 anymore but cheaper than most places with a similar offering.

Went to the cinema today to watch SIX:the musical. Des and Marissa went above and beyond and tended to our every need and were instrumental in a great and smooth experience

We first visited the cinema a couple of months ago but our daughter had a sensory overload and wouldn't enter the screen. The manager was so understanding and tried to help us to get her to try the movie but it wasn't going to happen so he very kindly have us complimentary tickets to try another day.
We have just been in to use the tickets and the manager remembered us and got us booked straight in.
It really is such a clean and friendly cinema. The sofa seats are a great touch not only are they comfy but it allows you to comfort your child when the lights go out.
Can't recommend it enough 👍

Visited over Easter Half term. There was an issue with my booking , the 241 hadn't been registered. Wendy, the manager sorted it all out swiftly and reimbursed me accordingly.
On the day of the visit, my child had a slight viewing restriction, Wendy kindly sorted me with a booster seat . These two minor hiccups were put right thanks to Wendy and the team, we enjoyed our experience. The cinema was comfortable and cosy.....Would definitely recommend.

The Royal is such a great cinema and has been refurbished to a very high standard. Very comfy seats/sofas and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Would very much recommend a visit.

Went to see the minecraft movie with the grandson the cinema very comfortable the popcorn and drinks not cheap but same as any whete else.
Tickets were cheap enough and friendly staff atmospere was great full of kids cheering there favorite characters

Big thanks to Steve, for making our family night out at Royal Cinema Sutton Coldfield. I booked seats not knowing the Kids wouldn't have the best view. Steve very kindly showed us a row of 4 spare seats with the very best view, we could use. Such fantastic customer service. Genuinely helpful and friendly. Thank you :0)

We were early for the film and Steve told us the history of the cinema by the photos & paintings displayed. The customer service here was the best I’ve ever experienced which makes a change nowadays.
Highly recommended and the cinema rooms were spotless too which again was lovely.
