I used to work for the cinema when it was an odeon and I've got to say this company has turned the place around! It's mix of art deco but modern equipment and lovely seating is a fresh change from other chain cinemas, the staff and manager are helpful and lovely people. Thank you for everything me, my partner and kids loved watching Moana 2 here and will be back again.

I usually frequent other cinemas, but this was my first time visiting Royal Cinema on Saturday night, and I was thoroughly impressed! Tristan and Wendy provided exceptional service, greeting me with warm smiles and going out of their way to assist with any questions I had, even though it was a busy night. Their friendliness and attentiveness made my experience stand out, and I felt welcomed right from the start. It’s not often that customer service makes such an impact, and I’ll definitely be returning to Royal Cinemas for future visits. Highly recommend!

This cinema is stunning! The decor is gorgeous and auditorium seating is so comfy, not your standard cinema seating, depending on which screen you're in there is sofas, foot rests and recliner chairs! All with cup holders of course. Staff really friendly and helpful. Not a cheap cinema but worth the extra for the comfort factor. And so much nicer than going into Birmingham or travelling further afield.

Absolutely amazing, was last in the cinema in 2012, always liked it but definitely needed some TLC. Went when it reopened to see Gladiator 2 and Omg what a transformation beautifully done in the lobby, and the cinema area lovely . The screens and sound were really good and the staff were really nice.<br>Just what Sutton needed. So happy it didn't get knocked down or turned into apartments.

This was the best cinema experience we've ever had. Loved watching the movie sitting on comfy sofas with cushions and plenty of leg room .If this was our local cosy and relaxing cinema we'd be frequenting all the time.

Took my grandchildren. It was very comfy, with foot rests too. Really nice cinema experience. Highly recommended and the family ticket was excellent value too. I'm going again with my daughters.

Aside from the rude lady seated next to me who demanded (and got) 10 minutes of attention causing my child to queue for an extra 10 mins for her slushie... And lack of policing her watching her phone during the movie ...<br><br>I can't possibly negate this place (it's not their fault!) - it's amazing! The decor is fantastic, the seating is luxurious, comfortable, and I paid LESS than a typical cinema.<br><br>The food options are limited, but I understand why, and I get the appeal - my little girl brought a blanket with her and we snuggled while eating popcorn, drinking slushies (beer for me!) and enjoying a movie. We will be back!

First time since the refurbishment that we visited, staff were lovely however I took my mam who was in a wheelchair, firstly I had to leave her outside as the automatic doors wouldn’t open so needed staff to help as they were actually locked, then they were kind enough to help with the lift, found the disabled toilet tricky as the door opens directly opposite the other toilet and it’s a bit of a tight squeeze with a wheelchair once in there, it was also a bit difficult getting through the doors, trying to push the chair and hold the door at the same time, we also noticed there is only one seat space for a wheelchair in S2 not sure if this is the same in each screen, we would go again though, the seats were comfy and the staff were great and to be honest it’s not until you’re in a certain situation that you notice these things

A real gem set in Sutton Coldfield. My second visit to the cinema since totally refurbished and in new ownership, well designed great staff especially the guy on reception that looked after us yesterday at the showing of Wicked, he was truly proud of working at the venue. His knowledge and customer service was 💯 brilliant. Definitely 👍 recommend.
