Great cinema, the way they have tastefully renovated this place is a credit to the owners. Prices of ticket, food and drink is very reasonable. I really hope they do well and will continue to support them over the big chains!

Great Cinema, only let down is the older lady staff with Glasses. Been extremely rude on my multiple visits. Really lets down the whole cinema as all the other staff are great.
Someone had entered the screen with wrong tickets to which she then stood infront of everyone and rudely stated "WHATEVER WE WILL FIND YOU" infront of all 99% of paying legitimate customers, made my son feel really anxious. Not a good image for the overall Cinema.
Have to give 5 Stars as this is my lifelong Cinema and forever grateful its back, BUT she has to go! Ruining it completely, Royal Cinema with a Kingstanding attitude...

Lovely cinema! Clean and comfortable, with attentive helpful, pleasant staff. Steve ,are our experience even better with his friendly manner and taking the time to ask if we enjoyed our movie. Great experience would recommend to everyone.

Fantastic cinema - such good value for money (a rarity for a cinema). Really impressed with the staff - love the bar. Great for an evening out with lots of foodie choices close by. Support this little gem people, would not want to lose it!

Went this morning for seniors film showing. We were able to choose an option with subtitles which made our experience even better. Thank you for trialling subtitles. My 93 year old mum had a great time!

The cinema has been beautifully restored. Steve was very friendly and welcoming and allowed us to have a good look round all the screens before the films started. Comfy seating and lots of leg room. A luxurious experience to celebrate a special occasion. Highly recommended.

The seats are sooooo comfortable and luxurious. It's very clean and tidy and the staff are friendly. The only criticism is that it is not disabled friendly, and my friend struggled to get upstairs. I know it's an old building, but this needs to be looked into. I would definitely recommend a visit.

First visit and a good experience. Really comfy seats with foot stools and bags of leg room. Pristine loos and a nice bar.. Sound a bit too loud on the trailer section but fine for the main film. Will def ho again - good programme of films and reasonably priced.

Went to see Bridget Jones film today and will definitely be going back.Seats were very comfortable,we found Steve and all the rest of the staff looked after us very well and we will be telling all our friends it's well worth going.Thanks again.

Went to watch the new Bridget Jones film last night (absolutely brilliant by the way) at the Royal Sutton Coldfield. We had a fantastic night, from walking in to a friendly smile, to the Bar upstairs being fully stocked and bar staff that couldn't do enough for us. So good infact we stayed for a couple of drinks with friends we bumped into. Keep up the good work guys 5 stars from us.

Just had our first visit to the fabulous refurbished Royal Cinema. I took my Mom Bridget who is 89 to see her namesake 'Bridget Jones' new film . The place is amazing, we were in Screen 3 , fabulous comfy seats , like home from home . I would just like to say a huge thankyou to the amazing staff who looked after us from the minute we arrived, as my Mom was in a wheelchair, in particular Des , he guided us through onto the wheelchair lift , even holding my Moms hand to reassure her as she became nervous and then on into screen 3 to make sure we got to the right seats , there we were handed onto another wonderful member of staff called Wendy , who again kindly shuffled a few others around to get us settled and to the other wonderful ladies who swopped seats so my Mom didn't have to struggle to the back., it was much appreciated. Hopefully this will be the 1st of many visits , and thankyou, thankyou to the saviours of our wonderful old Art Deco listed building Cinema the new 'Royal ' , you certainly made us feel welcome and like Royalty today . So glad they’ve reopened this classic Art Deco cinema. They’ve done an amazing job with the decor and the seating, and the prices are way lower than most of the corporate multiplexes. Friendly staff and a great selection of movies, including special screenings for children and pensioners. My only small gripe is that they no longer have a designated car park, but that’s not enough to lose them a star, since that was already a done deal before the new owners took over.
